Mini-Goals - counting the times I say "no" to simple carbs

They say the more times you do something, the more it becomes a habit and easier to do. I'm a carboholic. I think I can strengthen my resolve by keeping count of how many times I say "no" to those nasty simple carbs.
Just this afternoon I remember of being so tempted to grab a candy bar while out shopping, but I didn't do it. Happened at 2 different stores! :devil:
Then, this evening I suddenly got an urge for a Dairy Queen cone, but didn't act on it and eventually it went away.
I don't like losing contests or games, so this is a good one for me.
My goal is to not have any until I get to my desired weight. ..... Carbie
