Hello folks, I was glad to find this thread on products from Green Valley Ranch! I am quite familiar with some of their products. I have purchased them all from netrition. com
http://www6.netrition.com/cgi/prices.cgi?manu_id=721
It seems to me that this company sees the sales and successes of Walden Farms but are trying to take their products up a notch. They are very similarly bottled as WF, who knows, they may be an off-shoot division of WF! These products are sugar free, fat free, calorie free, carb free and gluten free.
Ok, here is what I have bought:
Ketchup- I personally give this a
very high rating! I just love it and have used it off plan as well. The color and consistency is what ketchup should be and the taste is bold and spicy, very flavorful. Much, much better than WF ketchup.
Indian Curry Sauce- I have enjoyed this yellow curry sauce especially with chicken. Bold flavor and if cooking with it you may wish to add additional curry powder. I have used it also as a "condiment" to grilled chicken. After being in refrigerator it can get a little...well..gloppy but shaking bottle or stirring contents quickly gets it back to right consistency.
Red Thai Curry Sauce- Good thai flavor that I enjoy. I often will use this in conjunction with the yellow curry as a condiment to chicken, place a little of the yellow and the red side by side and swirl a bit...pretty on the plate! Thick consistency and bottle needs shaking as above. Some may wish to add additional thai spices to "kick it up" even more.
Blue Cheese Dressing- I enjoy this too. No, it will never replace real blue cheese dressing but it does have a true subtle taste of blue cheese. It is off white, creamy but on the thinner side...I have a few times dumped out more on my salad then I would have liked. I guess I like this one ok as I have ordered it in quantity
Maple Syrup- Disappointed, it is darker in color than Walden Farms but doesn't (to me) taste as good as the WF.
They offer many more products, maybe someday I will try the Hawaiian Sweet & Tangy, the Seafood Sauce, Teriyaki and the Caesar Salad Dressing.
Anyone else out there tried these or any of their other products??
Have a wonderful day!
