Default Blue Team 2012 Fall Back To Basics Exercise Thread Week 3(09/10-09/16)

For an effective weight loss program it is important to incorporate exercise as well as making better dietary choices. While any kind of exercise is good for you, it has been proven many times over that just cardio or just strength training isn't the way to go...you need to have a combination of both, with a little bit of core focus as well. So as you plan out and track your exercise this week, be sure to get in 2-3 strength workouts and 2-3 cardio sessions. And don't forget about those abs! Copy and paste the follow format and come back throughout the week to edit your original post. Let’s move those bodies!

Monday- run/walk 3.09 miles, 40 min, 457 cal
Tuesday- rest day
Wednesday- elliptical 2.1m, 20min, 205cal; treadmill 1.5m, 22min, 237cal
Thursday- incline walk treadmill 26min, 300cal; pilates 25min, 165cal
Friday- rest day
Saturday- walk the Vegas strip on treadmill 3.04m, 44min, 480cal
Sunday- bad day worked and came home

I tend to do my workouts at night so I never manage to log Sunday; switching it up a little!

Sunday- 30 Day Shred
Monday- 20 mins hip hop cardio, 10 mins strength
Tuesday- 1.5 mile walk
Wednesday- Rest
Thursday-
Friday-
Saturday-

This is the plan for the week... I will change the day to green if I actually follow the day's plan!

Monday-1 hour step class, 1/2 hour ab class
Tuesday-OFF (but I will try to walk 10,000 steps at work tonight)
Wednesday-1/2 hour strength class, 1 hour power punch class INSTEAD I ran/walked a mile...trying to get to where I can run the entire mile!
Thursday-1/2 hour high intensity cardio class, 1/2 hour bosu strength class
Friday-OFF
Saturday-1 hour aerobics class, 1 hour body conditioning class
Sunday-30-45 minute hike at state park

This is a full week for me but I am going to try it!__________________
