Default Gonna Start that Diet Mon! Ha ha

I'm a healthy, active, vegetarian girl in her early thirties. I recently stopped eating meat and feel better than I ever have. BUT a new relationship and marriage has caused me to gain 13lbs that are bringing me down. I'm trying to not get too upset with myself but I need a little support and accountability to lose it.

My depression and negative self image is affecting me and my new husband, though he swears he hasn't noticed ANY weight gain.

Starting Mon the 10th of Oct. (ALWAYS a Mon. Starter for diets ha ha) I'm going to start running again and banning potato chips. Gonna need some support on this.

New to featherweights and 3FC's! Hope this works and helps me!

Good luck! Happiness and "new love" pounds happen to the best of us Good thing you're nipping it at 13 and not like, 50 pounds. Chips are definitely not good for having just a few. I can't be in the same room as Munchos or Tostitos Hint of Lime!

I can only assume you're starting Monday to have one "last hurrah" type of weekend? Just be careful you don't set yourself back another few pounds! Those treats will ALWAYS be there, and there is no reason to deprive yourself of things in life that you enjoy... the all or nothing mentality isn't usually the best way to kick off a "diet" though.

Yes! I was thinking I could use this weekend as a "last Hurrah" but know I'll totally end up eating all the crap I'm about to deprive myself of. Making myself sick and feeling worse than ever.

So I'm going to try something different based on what you said, those treats will be there in the future. I don't have to binge this weekend on everything I see and want. I'll try...
