Default First Week Weight Loss
Hi Everyone, I am wondering if anyone would like to post how much weight and/or inches they lost the very first week on IP?

I am a restarter and am very nervous about my first weigh in !

I can't remember my first time but i think I lost 4 or 5 lbs? I hear all these amazing stories about people losing 7, 10, 12 lbs on the first week but i'm scared i'll only lose 1 or 2...

Just curious what the "average" is if you want to post yours : )

I lost 5.8 at my first weigh in. I don't recall how many inches.

#9 pounds when I lost the weight two years ago (Sept 2010)the first week....I went into maintenance in May of 2011...did my first reboot in September 2011 (was up about 4 pounds) lost #8 pounds my first week....I have rebooted several times since (January, May...up about 5-6 pounds each, lost over #7 first week)....this time...up 18....not sure what I have lost...only day 4...staying off scale.

Good luck

Total I lost in 2010 was 83

I lost 5.4lbs and 8".

I think the first week weight depends on your starting weight. Good luck!

I lost thirty pounds the first week. It sucked but was awesome too! I was light headed and in a fog. I felt it especially in my breathing. It really motivated me to stick with it!

7.25 for me - not sure how many inches. I think a lot of it has to do with where you start at. I started at 200.5 pounds.
