I was going to do one of my videos today. However, I was invited to the gym so I went there instead. Spent roughly 2 hours or a little less there. Did a few machines for cardio and a hip abduction machine. Felt great, but I do believe tomorrow I will be doing a workout at home. :)

I did my first watp in about 5 years. I only did one mile but I enjoyed it! I think its going to be my weekend thing

Today I did the 2 mile sculpt and burn and the 3 mile walk away the waist.

HAPPY SEPTEMBER, ALL! Can't believe a new month is upon us, already! The year is going by too fast for me!

I worked late today so no exercise. I was invited back for the gym tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. :)

Hello ladies! Can I join?

I realized yesterday, that if I just walked 3 miles a day for the next 365 days, I'll reach my goal by doing that alone! It really put things in perspective - weight loss is really, really doable!

So as the school starts over and I'll be quite sedentary, I've decided to make a point to walk at least three miles a day, sometimes outside, but when the bad weather strikes (or if I'm just lazy to dress up) Leslie comes to the rescue!

As it's Monday and it's the start of the new month, today was my first day :)

I took the weekend off from WATP as I was out of town (I did use the hotel's fitness room each day however!) but I was able to squeeze in WATP 3 Mile Abs video tonight using a resistance band.

I went to the gym today.. Did 2 miles on the treadmill at 3.1 speed. I'm going back tomorrow with a friend. Maybe the day after I'll get a workout at home..

hey gang :wave: i'm still here !!! :wave:

i don't think i posted even one time in august....wow....sorry about that.. but I've been having to do some adjusting and haven't gotten in here to post it.

I have walked some with leslie but what i've been doing mainly is "tabata". i downloaded a tabata timer on my ipad and i jog for 20 seconds, and then i rest/prepare for 10 seconds (grab my handweights) and then do 20 seconds of reps, then 10 seconds of rest/prepare, and then 20 seconds of jogging, etc. i do this for 24 or 32 times which comes to 12 or 16 minutes. i know it's not as much as walking but i've been having to do what i can get in. we are down to 1 tv and it's in the living room so i can't do that at night, and 5 am is busy with everybody getting to work and i'm just having to do what i can.

Went to the gym today. Spent about 44 minutes of the treadmill and some on the machine called The Arc. Did a little machine work for the legs. No plans to go the gym tomorrow so maybe I can squeeze in a WAH DVD! :cb:

Does anyone have the 4 Mile Power Walk that was just released in August of this year? I was wondering about the power surges. I read a review that said they are pretty high impact. Are there low impact alternative moves included?? Thanks

I ordered this several days ago. I have not received it yet but will post when I do and get a chance to try it. Someone who already has it may post in the meantime.

I have been working out just haven't had much time to come here and post, very busy week last week.

I did the 4 Fast Miles DVD Friday - this morning. I'm planning on doing this video every day for the next week unless I start to get bored.

AnnieDrews - I love using a resistance band when walking! Especially the tricep exercise when pull down to the side. I had some coordination issues at first (lol) but I got the hang of it.

Hi everyone.

Yesterday I did WATP 5K with a Twist in the AM and 4 Fast Miles in the evening.

Today I walked 2.5 miles on a treadmill and did 4 Fast Miles right after. I haven't weighed myself in over a week, but my clothes are literally falling off of me.

I finally tried the 4 Mile Power Walk yesterday, I was on vacation last week and didn't work out. Anyway, I did the whole 4 miles and I didn't think the power surges were really that high impact. Honestly, I liked the DVD but feel like I get a better workout with the 4 Fast Miles or the 5 Mile Fat Burning walk.

The first time doing kickbacks, my legs died after doing six. But I kept going and somehow everything felt lighter (except for the double knees...oh God). Hopefully I don't get sick because tomorrow I'm definitely going to try other WATP variations.

Did the 4 Mile Power Walk again to add a little variety to the workouts. In case anyone is wondering what the power surges consist of they are jogging a little, bounces which are like jump rope, half jacks, twists and shifts.

You're welcome!! Like I tell everyone who asks, I barely made it through one mile the first time I did one of her videos. Don't overdo, just do what you can and you'll be eating those miles before you know it!!:carrot:

Fortunately I didn't get sick and today I did the 3 mi workout again early in the afternoon. Then I did 1 mi + 3 mi again in the evening. I really should get a HRM or a pedometer perhaps because now I'm not sure how many calories I'm burning. With the elliptical at least I have an idea of how much I have to eat back or how much I can still eat after the workout.

Hi Betty! I think the only thing us walkers have in common is the Leslie Sansone videos. We all follow different plans if working for weight loss. I loosely count calories/fat. Are you following anything in particular?

Did another 3 miles. I want to try the one with the ab/strength training. What would be a good substitute for the resistance band? I wonder if 2.5 lbs of dumbbell will be okay.

Hi girls!

Work has been kicking my behind this week so I haven't been able to log in much. I still kept up with my videos though and I've walked over 25 miles this week and I still have one day to go! I'm just going to do a super low intensity 2 mile video tomorrow though. My body is changing before my eyes.

Today I did the 4 Mile Super Challenge and miles 2 and 3 of the 5 Mile Fat Burning walk this morning.

bettyboop56 - Right now I am losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time. I eat a lot of protein and smaller meals and snacks 4 - 5 times throughout the day. Also I drink a gallon+ of water everyday and I allow myself a cheat meal on Friday or Saturday nights every week and no sugar or sweets.

2+3 today. Today was supposed to be my rest day but hey I thought, 2 miles is only 30 minutes. So I did. Then after dinner I did 3.

I did the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk this afternoon.

I think I'm ready for a challenge to shake things up so tomorrow I'm going to do the Exercise Tv 3 mile video but I'm going to try to boost it for as long as I can. Maybe the first mile boost it, the second mile a high intensity walk and boost the third mile. Ahhh wish me luck!

AnnieDrews - good for you for doing the Walk Slim 5 Really Big Miles video! Are there boosted walks involved? Good job on losing 1 pound too!!!!

Nayshal - You'll get there! The good thing is that you are moving! :) When I first started posting here in July I barely got through 1 mile. Now I'm averaging 4 - 8 miles everyday!

Yes, Sunnyside, there is lots of boosting on that particular walk. I have to stay low impact because of my knees, but I power walk it.:running:

Took the day off yesterday and didn't really have a good food day, either. Did the Walk Slim 4 Fast Miles with resistance band today. Goal for Sunday: NO fried foods!! I had it both Friday and Sat. and I just don't feel all that great when I do that. Seems like it just sits in my belly and festers. Eating healthier today!!:carrot:

Yesterday I powerwalked for 2 miles on a school track and came home and did the WATP 3 miles with Abs using my resistance band. Feel like I get better results with the videos.

Yesterday I did 4 Fast Miles and I power walked for 2 miles on a school track after dinner last night.

Just got done doing 5K with a Twist with 3 lbs dumbbells.

i'm still mainly doing tabata at night when I can get it in, but i'm missing my Leslie walks. I ordered the new 3 Mega Miles from collagevideos this week and just did it. I like it!!! but i think my arms are gonna be sore tomorrow from the stretchy band workout LOL

sooooo now i'm wondering if i could get myself in bed at 9 this week and get up at 4:30 to get in my walks....hmmm gonna see what i can do.

I took a break yesterday (felt like I was coming down with something so I took it easy, but I'm okay now).

Today I did The Big Burn- 2 Miles of Intervals twice minus the cool down during the first go around and the warm-up in the second round. I used 3 lb handweights and got a great workout!

I do 3 to 5 miles most every day. I love her workout videos. I found full programs on youtube.
