View Full Version : Under 300 for the First Time

It's a bit late to be celebrating this goal, but I feel like I lost some motivation this week (for some reason) and just want to remind myself: among other victories, about two weeks ago, I was FINALLY under 300lbs. for the first time since high school. Woo! When I saw the scale that morning I left the kitchen a total mess because I was shaking so badly! :dizzy: That was almost 80lbs. in 5 and 1/2 months.

Now to get my butt in gear again!

Congratulations, that's wonderful! Not to mention, losing 80 pounds in 5 1/2 months is no small feat. I'm sorry you've lost motivation, but maybe reaching one of your goals will help keep you going. You're definitely an inspiration to others.

It isn't easy, nope. Especially this week, since the A/C broke and working out has been torture. I'm not sure I hit my weekly goal. ^^; But I think we're going to water aerobics tomorrow! Fun!

Woohoooo for you! Just wanted to add (ref your original comment) that it certainly sounds as if you butt is already in gear!!

Way to go!!! You're losing weight at a crazy fast speed. That's pretty darn incredible. It's so easy to lose motivation but reminding yourself of these victories is a great idea to help boost your mood and keep going. 80 lbs for some people is their main goal. You've taken a HUGE step!

A tip: when you're feeling a little stuck, try something new. Introduce a new vegetable or fruit, try a new fitness routine, go walk somewhere you've never walked. I find it usually gives me a kick in the pants that I need! (For instance, I just discovered kale, it's fabulous!)
