Question Vita-Mix / Healthmaster?

Does anyone here have either of these? What do you make in yours? I haven't gotten started on IP yet, so the only thing I do in it is a protein shake in the morning with frozen strawberries. I know you can do soups and all kinds of stuff in it ... but with any type of "cooking" I'm not very creative!!

I have the Vitamix and love it. I use it for smoothies, soups and purees. I tried it for a sorbet once using the recipe book, but that was only 1x maybe 2 years ago.

I love my vitamix! I use it everyday, multiple times a day for shakes for me and dh.... I put in ice, water, and the protein pack and blend with a little extra stevia... I blend it and it makes a lot!!! It blends it up to be like an ice cream or if I keep blending, it will thin it out a bit for more of a shake. I also love it because I can add veggies to my shakes and it blends it up so well there are no bits in it!!! I am a vitamix person to the core!!! LOL!!!

I would love if you guys could share your "recipes". I have the Healthmaster ... Montel's version of the Vita-Mix. It came with a big cookbook, but I just looked through a Vita-Mix cookbook at the state fair and those recipes seem like they have a lot more "normal" ingredients.

I have a vita-mix and use it daily. In the recipes section I posted my recipe for a Mock Wendy's Frosty, which is my nightly treat even in maintenance!

I will say, when mine dies I will buy the kitchen aid blender. You can search the web for comparisons- popular mechanics did a test with it

I just put about 6 oz of water in it, a cup of ice and my pudding packet. Sometimes I put a spoon of instant coffee. I usually put in some stevia drops. Then I blend it up and that is it!
