Did miles 1-3 of the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk this morning!:carrot:

Really going to have to adjust bedtime/get up time as school starts soon. My son will be going to school at 7 a.m. for marching band practice at least through October. I will NOT let it effect my exercise schedule. It's too important to me.

08-02-2012, 07:35 AM
I forgot to log this yesterday. 4 Big Miles and then 2 miles from 5 Really Big Miles.

Hello everyone! I bought a new car over the weekend, so excited!!

Skipped walking yesterday, but got in the 3 Mile Walk Away Your Waistline w/ belt this morning. Felt good to do something different! I sometimes get stuck on doing one or two certain DVDs and need to work on mixing it up more.

08-07-2012, 04:39 PM
CONGRAT'S on the new car Annie, enjoy it!

Today, walk outdoors and 2 mile sculpt and burn.

Whew, I had trouble dragging out of bed this morning!! 2 Mile Walk w/ 2# weights from the 5 Day Fit Walk.

08-09-2012, 04:11 PM
Hello, This is my first day. I completed 1/2 mile.

08-09-2012, 05:02 PM
Good for you VALERIAO! :) :yay:

Today...Biggest Loser Power Sculpt, Biggest Loser 1 Mile Power Walk walk #2 and the 2 mile (WATP) Sculpt and Burn and I am feeling the burn/pain!

08-09-2012, 05:57 PM
Annie - Congrats on the new car!! :)

5 miles from the Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan, plus ab session. Feels great! I set it up myself almost the same as if you did "Friday's (the 5 mile) workout." Difference is that I moved the blue mile, which I believe is the first mile, to be the last mile and did the others in order. Then the ab session instead of full body stretch. :carrot:

08-10-2012, 10:59 AM
Today, I completed 1 mile with walk off weight at home. I like the old tapes for beginners. The moves are basic and easy. I worked up a sweat without pain.

08-10-2012, 02:12 PM
Welcome Valeriao!! "5 Day Fit Walk" is an older DVD and was the first one I owned. I barely got through the 1 mile the first time!! I still pull it out every now and then. I really like the 2 mile walk on that one.

Today: Miles 1 and 2 of 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk.

I am setting a goal for myself to do at least one WATP workout over the weekend. I don't usually on weekends, but I need to get back to losing! I'll report back on that.

08-10-2012, 06:53 PM
Hi girls,

I power walk on a school track on Thursday nights, but last night it was raining very hard. So I came across a walk at home video on YouTube last night. I can not believe I walked for one mile in my own home and it made me sweat like crazy! Also I was not bored at all! Time just flew by and I walked 1.08 miles (I had on my pedometer).

I did step up the speed and used 3 lbs dumbbells, but I'm going to try the 2 mile video soon. No excuses when snow comes!

Good luck with getting back on track AnnieDrews!

08-10-2012, 09:01 PM
Today...2 mile (WATP) Shape & Firm, getting ready to go for a brisk walk in 30 mns...the temps have gone down and it is actually nice outdoors. Still in the 90's but that definitely beats the 100's!

Have a GREAT walking away the pounds weekend!

08-11-2012, 03:57 PM
Hello. I did my 1 mile WATP late today. I feel better during my exercise early in the morning. I will continue to do WATP everyday until it become a habit. Have a great weekend.

08-11-2012, 11:40 PM
I also enjoy doing my exercise in the morning, however I had to work super early in the morning. Just completed 5 miles of the Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan. I think this tape is easily becoming one of my favorites. :)

08-12-2012, 01:03 PM
Hi. This is day 4. I completed 1 1/2 mile which is my highest. I am working my way up to 2 miles 5 days week.

08-12-2012, 02:16 PM
Valeriao - you're doing great! :)

I completed 2 miles (yellow and green) of the U5DWP.

08-13-2012, 02:53 PM
3 miles from the same dvd as usual.

08-14-2012, 11:04 AM
Well, just checking in to report that I did NOT follow through on my plan for weekend exercise. I could make excuses, but it all comes down to the fact that I didn't do it. Had to get up at 4:30 yesterday morning to be at the driver's permit testing facility with my son and STILL had to wait 6 hours just so he could take his test. So I didn't get any exercise in yesterday either.

This morning I got up just in the nick of time to squeeze in Mile 1 of the Walk Off Even More Weight Fast Walk.

I need to remember how much better I feel when I am exercising....mind, body, helps them all!!:carrot: I can really tell a difference when I am not getting enough in.

Welcome SunnySide!!

08-14-2012, 12:20 PM
Hello, I was planning on taking Sunday off, but I did 1/2 mile. Today, I completed 1 mile. I'm shopping for WATP dvds. I like the ones with a group of exercisers and upbeat music. Most of my favorites are on VHS tapes. I 'm looking for old favorites on dvd.

08-15-2012, 01:35 PM
5 Mile Fat Burning Walk today

08-15-2012, 08:18 PM
Sorry to be missing but I just do the same every day........2mi with 5 lb weights. Too much outside to do more.

08-16-2012, 10:33 AM
Hi, I did 1 mile.

08-16-2012, 01:36 PM
It has just been a weird week here. My sons and I went to see the Yanni concert last night (AWESOME!) and I didn't get to sleep until midnight, so I slept in this morning instead of exercising. I was down a half pound, though, so happy about that!

Yesterday, I did 2 miles from the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk.

08-16-2012, 02:04 PM
I forgot to post yesterday that I did 5 miles.. Didn't put all the effort I could have into it. Hopefully I will be doing some exercise today...

08-16-2012, 10:56 PM
Today I did Burn Body Fat and Sculpt Your Arms- 3 miles and 3 miles of Walk Slim 5 Really Big Miles

08-16-2012, 11:51 PM

08-17-2012, 01:14 PM

08-17-2012, 05:30 PM
Hi ladies!! Today I did miles 1 & 2 of the 5 Mile Fat Burning.:carrot: Was down a little on my weight yesterday, but back up today.

08-18-2012, 11:40 AM
Hi, I took yesterday off. Today I completed 1 mile.

08-18-2012, 01:42 PM
I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds 3 miles with Abs video for the first time yesterday and I found the time just flew by and sweat was pouring off of me!

08-18-2012, 09:39 PM
I didn't exercise yesterday, i guess i'll consider it a "rest" day. I've been sick since about Wednesday so I certainly needed the rest. Anyway, i was feeling somewhat better today and did 5 miles of the U5DWP. I love it.

08-19-2012, 12:15 PM
Good Morning, I did half of mile.

08-21-2012, 10:50 AM
Pixie-Hope you are feeling better!

Got too busy to check in yesterday. Did Miles 1 & 5 of the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk yesterday and miles 1, 2 & 3 of same DVD today. I am getting in a rut with that one, need to mix it up a bit. It's just so handy to get in 3 miles in 36 min. instead of 45!!

I'm having to get up earlier certain days with my son as he has to be at marching practice at 7 a.m., so maybe I can get some more miles in.

I want to look for one or two of the newer DVDs, too.

08-21-2012, 03:54 PM
Annie- Thanks! I do feel a lot better now. :)

Great job everyone. :carrot: I could have exercised the last two days, but I kept putting it off. I did 5 miles today though!

08-21-2012, 05:34 PM
Didn't walk yesterday because of work but did 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk today

08-22-2012, 06:22 PM
Hello ALL!

Sorry I've been has been a little crazy the last two weeks! I have been exercising a little last week and getting back on track this week. I started school Monday and trying to get on a schedule so my exercise is not pushed to the back burner so...

Today I started the morning off with a 30 minute brisk walk outdoors and then did the 3 mile Walk Away the Waist...feeling good!

Glad you are feeling better PIXIE!

08-22-2012, 08:40 PM
Got in the 2 Mile Power Walk With Friends w/ 2# weights this morning!:carrot:

It's been a crazy week getting back into the swing of getting my son off to school (the other is in college) and to marching band practice by 7 a.m. I've been trying to get to bed at least 30 min. earlier on those nights so I can be sure and get up and exercise. It's also been a crazy week at work. I am relaxing tonight...well, if doing laundry and watering flowers can be called the boys are at their Dad's. I'm REALLY looking forward to the weekend.

I may try to do a yoga DVD I bought a while back. It has a bedtime routine on it. I've never done it before.

08-23-2012, 03:36 PM
I did a 3 mile walk at home DVD this morning and will powerwalk for 2 miles outside after dinner.

Breaking up my walks - one in the AM and one in the PM is really helping me with increasing my endurance (not to mention my legs are starting to look fabulous!)

08-23-2012, 05:23 PM
Hello, I was MIA because of knee pain. Yesterday I completed 1/2 mile and today I completed 1 mile.

08-23-2012, 06:39 PM
Hello

Sunnyside...that's what I do, I break up my exercise. I try to get 2 dvd's and a walk a day...morning, noon'ish and afternoon/early evening. Works better for me!

Valeriao...sorry about your knee. WTG getting back on track!

Good job Annie!

For me today I did dvd's...WATP Scultp & Burn, 1 mile WATP with Booster and the BL 1 mile Power walks #1 & 2. Feeling good about that!

08-24-2012, 10:03 AM
Hi FrouFrou (I love your username BTW!) I completely agree with you. I'm not sure why I thought I had to get all of my miles in at once? Oh well!

Yesterday I ended up walking 6 miles for the first time! 3 miles at home in the morning, 1 mile on the track after dinner (had to go home because my bf's knee was bothering him) so I came back home and did a 2 mile dvd. I'm really feeling it today!

My plan today is to do another 2 mile walk at home DVD and to walk about 2.5 miles outside after dinner.

08-24-2012, 12:12 PM
Annie, is the yoga dvd by Leslie?

08-24-2012, 12:21 PM
Hi, I did 1 mile.

08-24-2012, 05:16 PM
GREAT job Sunny! And everyone else :yay:

Today I did the 2 mile (WATP) Sculpt and Burn and the 1 mile walk with booster for the WATP dvds. Also, the BL 1 mile powerwalk #4 and the BL power sculpt and I am feeling it!

08-24-2012, 06:47 PM
No, Carol, it is by.....Elena Brower. not familiar with her and still haven't done the darn thing!

Only had time for 1 mile this morning. Used the Get Up and Get Started on the 5 Day Fit Walk. 2# weights.

Forgot to post yesterday, did 2 miles.

08-25-2012, 01:32 PM
Taking a free day today! That is the plan anyway, we'll see by the end of the day if that happens, lol.

Have a GREAT weekend!

08-26-2012, 11:08 AM
I took the day off from walking yesterday, but I did take a killer spin class! Will resume today with the WATP 4 mile video.

08-26-2012, 04:13 PM
Thanks Christina! :)

Val, hope your knee feels better!

I think I only exercised the one time last week. No real reason, just didn't. Today I did 5 miles of the Walk It Off & Tone It Up plus the total body slim down. Forgot how nice this one was!

08-27-2012, 11:36 AM
I just did a 3 mile WATP video. It's pouring raining outside and it's nice not to have to depend on the weather to workout. :)

08-27-2012, 12:39 PM
Hi, I just finish 1/2 mile and yesterday, I did 1 mile.

08-27-2012, 01:03 PM

2 mile sculpt and burn, 1 mile biggest loser powerwalk #2

08-29-2012, 08:29 AM
Yesterday I did WATP 4 mile challenge in the morning and Leslie's 3 mile ExerciseTV video last night! The first time I did over 4 miles in one day.

I'm doing WATP 4 Really Fast Miles this morning. I might take tomorrow off from walking or just do one intense mile.

I have a question...does any one here set weekly or monthly goals for miles walked? For September I'm thinking about doing that for myself, but I have no idea how to pick a number! I've only recently step up my walking exercise so I don't want to overdo it, but I want a challenge too! :)

pixiefalls - Glad you can relate! No excuses when the winter comes. :)

08-29-2012, 02:21 PM
Good job everyone!

Sunny...I used to set mile goals but no longer do. I do write down all my exercise everyday for some reason but not for goals, just do. WTG on the 4 miles! :yay:

Today...4 fast miles & WATP Walk & Jog. Will end the day with a walk.

08-29-2012, 04:05 PM
Hi gang! This morning I did miles 1,2 & 3 of the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk. Wore the weighted belt.

Sunnyside-I don't really set goals, but I like to do a min. of 2 miles/day during the week. Preferably 3. I'm really having a hard time making time to do the longer workouts which are what I really need. I've put on some pounds and can't seem to get started losing it. Of course, I believe it's the calories that are hanging me up.

If anyone is on Facebook. On Leslie's Walk page, there is a section called Walk Social. I think it was orig. meant to be more of a community, but I've been using it to log my miles since about Feb. I know there have been a few I've forgotten to log, but as of today, I've walked 302 miles since Feb. It's nice seeing it add up like that!!

08-29-2012, 06:03 PM
I am doing 1/2 mile and 1 mile on alternate days.

08-29-2012, 09:12 PM
5 Mile Fat Burning Walk

08-29-2012, 11:07 PM
Sunnyside - I don't set goals up for exercising. I've considered it, but I usually try to do 5 miles most often. If I remember I will write down what I've done in a yearly calendar I keep in my nightstand. It's nice to see what I've been doing so handy (I also try and log my weigh-ins.) It's hit or miss right now haha.

Annie - That's wonderful! 300 is a lot. Congrats. :)

My work hours have been all over the place. Too tired to exercise, but I hope to get some in tomorrow!

08-30-2012, 02:55 PM
3 Mile Boot Camp w/ bands this morning!!:carrot:

Speaking of goals...I set a goal for myself of 10 pounds in 10 weeks. I need to get this off! Will record tomorrow's weight honestly and go from there!

08-30-2012, 06:06 PM
I just can't get off the walk strong 2mi with 5lb weights. Seems to do the most for the amount of time. We walked for 6 hr. yesterday at the Minnesota state fair. Wow

08-30-2012, 09:01 PM
4 Really Big Miles

08-31-2012, 09:47 AM
Thanks for your feedback FrouFrou, AnnieDrews and pixiefalls. I'm going to continue what I'm doing for now and not aim for a specific number but continue to walk everyday to build strength and endurance and include a second workout a few days per week.

Yesterday I did WATP 5K with a Twist (one of my favs) and I incorporated a resistance band. I haven't been out of the track much lately. I'm seeing better results with Leslie Sansone's videos.

I'm attempting WATP 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk for the first time shortly. I can do this!

08-31-2012, 12:36 PM
