Default Why is the meat at dinner so important?

Hi, just finished week two of IP and loving it so far. Just curious about one thing...wondering why it is important to have the meat at supper time instead of having another IP packet?

Might seem like a silly question, just wondering if it would make the results come even quicker?

Thanks!

It is so that you learn to cook and eat in a healthy way by starting with one meal. Plus, most people have one meal with family or friends and it we can start to learn about making better choices.

Sorry to chime in when I'm not on IP yet, but another reason that most of the meal-replacement programs (From SlimFast to IP and all the others in-between) include a "real meal" is because a real food meal makes the plan safer.

The early meal-replacement diets included no "real" food just shakes, bars, soups, and/or puddings), and several were pulled from the market and liquid diets got a bad reputation overall, because of deaths and injuries resulting from the diets (usually heart damage related).
