Today when I weighed myself I felt like doing a dance. I finally have reached a loss that solidifies a day back in eight grade when I knew I needed a big change in my life. Since that day I've had ups and downs, took up walking, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and have developed a strong will to keep going. Today marks the day when I am 40 pounds lighter, and I just feel so overjoyed!!!! Who knew that I would make it this far when I used to be the last one running (or rather walking the mile with my arms over my head because my lungs just weren't doing their job). I've grown to love running now, and I feel bogged down if I don't run at least three miles a day. I love it so much!
