Question exercise bike= massive foot cramp. help?

Almost a year ago I tripped on the cat down the stairs and severely broke my ankle (got a plate and total of 13 screws on both sides of my right ankle). Nerves got pretty damaged but mostly healed.

When I use my exercise bike it only takes about 10 minutes before my right foot cramps up in the arch so bad I have to stop. I've tried different types of shoes for varying support and trying to increase my stretching for that ankle but is there anything specific I could do? I was told pushing through the pain would cause more damage. Any ideas are greatly appreciated thank you!

Since your pain is caused by a serious accident such as what happened to you I would highly recommend seeing your doctor about this issue...

I wish I could but I cant afford health care and I'm already in thousands of dollars of debt from breaking my ankle.

Find another way to exercise? I wouldn't keep doing it if it causes you that much pain.

Well I was just wondering if there were exercises I could do to get more strength in that area so I could work back up to biking like I used to.
