Default Working out makes me HUNGY!!!!

I've been working out a lot more in the past couple of weeks, and I love the improvements that I've made in my strength and endurance. But the more I exercise the more I want to eat! I'm worried that the calories that I burn in my workouts aren't enough to balance out the extra calories that I'm eating. I don't want to cut back on exercise, because I want to get leaner in addition to getting thinner. Does anyone have tips for how to keep my appetite under control? Should I be eating a snack after I work out? Do I need more protein?

Yes and yes ... I ususally can't eat right after my workout, I need water and lots of it... but about 30 to 45 mins after I am hungry I eat a small protein and carb meal...Eating within an hour after a workout is the best time to feed your muscles...
