Default Can I have salad dressing?

I have fat free italian dressing as my preconditioning menu states. However, I do not see where I can have it now that I am on a menu. I did notice I can have 2 tsp of oil and used 2tsp of ff italian in my salad instead. YES? NO? I will redeem myself tomorrow if need be.

Yes, you can have fat free. Also 2 t olive oil, which is better for you. Mixing them together might be an interesting idea... I love olive oil and don't care for the fat free stuff personally.

Yes you can have salad dressings. Here is what the Protocol info packet says: when selecting pre-made dressings you may enjoy 1 serving of salad dressing or liquid condiment per meal, up to twice per day. Select items that have less than 2 grams of fat, less than 3 grams of carb's and are low in sodium.

You can use the Whishbone salad sprays or Walden Farm dressings. I am not a fan of either so I just use the dressing from the MRC cookbook:

HONEY DIJON DRESSING

6 tsp. Dijonnaise mustard
6 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
6 tsp. apple cider vinegar
2 pkgs. artifical sweetner

shake up on a bottle. serves 3 (2 tsp. per serving)

I like to mix 2/3 c Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/3 c Olive Oil and some dry Italian salad dressing mix. It is great. I have also used greek yogurt or cottage cheese, put it in a blender and beat it til creamy. Then add a package of dry Ranch Salad dressing. Add enough water to make thin enough to use for salad dressing, or keep it thick to use as a dip for veggies.

Is the Braggs strong or is it lessened with the other ingredients? I had Braggs once for a diet I was on. I had to drink it straight or I could add a bit of lemon juice…….BAD MEMORIES! I did get to eat other things but this concoction had to be ingested twice per day.
