I use to watch but a few seasons ago I just got so disheartened with the whole thing, it seems to always start off good but then it turns into a popularity contest with easily predictable results. Has it gotten better, am I missing out?

I don't get live feeds, but I have Showtime so I can watch Big Brother After Dark (it's normally really boring though)
Me! I cant wait this is one of the few reality shows my husband will watch with me. Caroline will you be our blogger?! I have never.gotten the live feeds but this year we have showtime so we will have afterdark.
I think the last few seasons have been good. But if you weren't a fan of Brendan and Rachel or Jeff and Jordan, it would be a long season. Some of the editing can make or break our opinions of the house guests.
This year they are bringing back 4 veteran houseguests they'll act as mentors. They'll be playing for a different prize, only the newbies will qualify to win the $500,000.
It's quite the cast this year... the type-casting is a little obvious, but should be fun.

Watched the first episode of BB 14. It is too soon to have an opinion on the guests. On the mentors, I remember Mike Boogie very well, Dan looks familiar but I don't remember him, same with Janelle, looks familiar but don't remember her. Brittaney I don't remember at all.
LOVE this show! I always like to look at Joker's Updates, but then I get sucked into the spoilers and it messes up the shows for me. So I try to stay off of there...
So far I like Willie (though I'm sure that will change) and Wil (cracked up when he talked about the HGs "flipping and flopping like flapjacks" in the first challenge) and Joe, the chef. I also like the twist with the coaches...should make things interesting!
