Default What to do on sick days???

Hi there,

I have come down with the flu and am wondering how best to handle this. Today I feel much better. The diarrhea is gone so far. So...I am wondering if I can/should exercise or not.

Also, what is a good way to recover so that I do not go from very few calories to very many the next day? Is that bad for the system and the weight loss?

Peace,
Paula

Paula - just feel better. Ifyou had the flu, it might be best to get some rest today and skip the exercise. Don't worry about the food. Just return to normal as soon as possible and the rest will take care of itself.

What Sandi said. I get my water points & food points when I am sick, and that's about it.

I'm not even op with food when I'm sick (like now) I am on a low carb plan and when I don't feel good i just can't muster up to eating protien. This is the time I let myself eat soup, or what ever I can muster down, then when I feel better, I go back op. And about a workout, wait till you feel better. That is what the trainer at the gym tells me.

Thanks everyone. I did not exercise today, but did stay on my food plan. The funny thing is that I soooo wanted to exercise -- a complete turn around from the pre-me.

Peace,
Paula
