Default Portion Control Plates

I was trying to look for an "Intuitive Eater" thread, because these would probably go hand-in-hand with them....or also if anyone is on the Food Lovers Diet.

I bought these awhile ago -- like Nov or Dec and I just got them today (they were back ordered)

I'm a Cal Counter, myself, but think they're cute and also a very good visual on those days when you don't know how many calories something is...at least with these you won't over indulge.

That's kinda' cool! What portion goes where? I mean, is one for veggie, one for meat and one for starch, or how does it go on the plate?

Yes, the largest space is for veggies, the medium is for carbs and the smallest is for your protein.

It says "carb -- side dish" on the medium flower

Sorry...horrible pictures.

I'm just using them as regular plates so far.

When I had ordered these, I had just bought the Food Lovers diet and thought these would go hand-in-hand. However, now I'm just a normal calorie counter...but I still love the design of the plates

I figure, one day when I'm in maintenance, I'll utilize them more and learn potion control.

That a very cool idea! I, unfortunately, would just pile my food UP in stead of out LOL!

These are a great idea! I've used the old trick of using a smaller plate when I'm eating, but these take it a step further. I'm a calorie-counter, too; these would be great to help with portion control when maintaining. I could even make my own. Hm...food for thought.
