I don't like asking people in real life because it involves telling them how much I weigh LOL....I've had a few people who are close to me (sister, DH, mom) tell me that I don't look like I weigh in the low 190s, that I look like I weigh alot less than that...So I wanted to put a few pics out there and ask if I look like I weigh 192? Do I look less than that? Is this about right? I honestly don't have a clue, as I don't know what other people IRL weigh either...
I also had my doctor tell me last week that I look like I weigh less than 190s and that it's because my bones have tested as really LOW risk of osteoporosis, meaning my bones are very dense, healthy and heavy, which is why I weigh this much but look smaller....I'm honestly not sure if I believe that or not...
And I'm honestly fine with whatever feedback I get here...whether I look heavier than 190s or less or about right...
You pose an interesting question. If I am ever asked to estimate someone's weight, I usually guess low, or if someone tells me how much they weigh, I will act surprised and say that I thought it was lower! I think many people may do this, because it's a way of being polite to and/or flattering the other person.
I also think I'm usually pretty good at 'guesstimating' people's real weights. In your case, however, I would NOT have guessed the 190s. Based on your pics, I would have said the 160s....
Knowing your height, if I didn't already know your weight I'd guess between 175 and 180. Purely based off of a comparison of my own weight, and the fact the we are very close in height I would have guessed you were probably smaller than me by at least a few pounds.

Same here. What size do you wear? I was in 16/XL at that weight.

i wear size 8/10 juniors if the pants have some give in them (athletic pants etc)...i detest wearing jeans but i know i can wear size 11/13 junior jeans...i wear a size 15/17 junior tee shirt and my bra size is 36C...i am getting smaller than that from working out though, i just bought a size 4/6 yoga pants but i think it's the brand that allowed that size...i also need smaller shorts now too but i havent bought any so i dont know what size i wear there
I'm your height, and I was your weight. Based on what I looked like from around 210 to now, I'd have guessed from your pics that you were in the 170s somewhere, possibly around 180, give or take. I wouldn't have guessed 190s for sure.
It's hard to tell because the pictures don't show all of you - for all we know you could be carrying a large amount of extra on your bum, for example - but I'd have thought you were a bit less than the 190s too. I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to judging weights on heights other than my own, but you're the same height as my sister and she weighs 151; you don't look vastly heavier than she does.

I'm a medical writer and have written a lot about osteoporosis. What your doctor said is true. I think my kids and I have light bones (which unfortunately puts us at higher risk of osteoporosis), which is why we weigh LESS than our appearance would suggest. Some people may think 140 pounds is too low for my height of 5'11", but I don't look skinny or scrawny.
You look great in your pictures. As we often say on this board, weight is just a number. If you weigh 4,000 and look/feel fine, then the number means nothing, right?
