Default second opinion on tube dress for large bust ???

I am looking at a high quality dress on eBay but I am not sure if it would suit my figure. How do elastic tube bodices work for large busts? The dress is A-line with cap sleeves with an elastic bodice.

Can you post a pic of the dress?

Tube tops look best with reaaaallly good support. If you can wear a good bra to keep the girls up, go for it. If not, I'd pass.

Agreed! Us larger busted ladies need more support than a tube dress can usually offer. My boobs end up drifting of to the sides...not a good look for me!

I have a really good strapless bra for that kind of clothing. The style is totally do-able with the support of a good bra but I wouldn't try it without one.

Its hard to say without seeing you in it. I think that something I notice with illfitting ones is if there is a lot of upper chest/armpit spillage, so as long as you don't have that, probably fits fine.

It is item 180899370456 on ebay if any one wants to look. (Can't link from my phone)

I went ahead and took a chance on it and clicked the BIN button.16 bucks shipped for an Eshakti dress is a good price.

The bodice does have sleeves, so I will not need a staples bra. I was more concerned with the silhouette on my large hourglass figure.

Sounds gorgeous! Hourglass figure is a thing many women (and men!) love, show it off

Oh, since the bodice has sleeves I think it will look gorgeous on you. An hourglass figure needs to be emphasized by wearing more fitted clothes, so don't be afraid to show off your curves. I'd love to see a picture of the dress once you receive it.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.....this style is out of my comfort and knowledge zone and since I have not been this thin since college, I was not sure if it would work.

I still ha ve a few pounds to go before the size will work...so there's that! Hopefully it is a win!

My dress came and let me just say, Eshakti really has nice stuff. Nice thick lined cotton and great embroidery. I need to loose about three inches from my waste/bust before I think it will be wearable and the sleeves need to be changed...a lot of sleeve for such a short sleeve.

I am hoping it will work by the fall.

I love the color I'm a bit of a fan of yellow, I just can't wear it.

*super-uber jealous of the hourglass figure*

Good luck Hope it fits well.
