Said not just "no," but "OMG NO!!!" to a cookie at the Target Cafe that I so desperately wanted. Then I found out that it had 20g of fat and 69g of carbs!

Seems like we all like (or dislike!) our cookies today! :)

Went out this morning before temps got too high and walked with my spouse and our dog to the banks of the St-Lawrence river and back, for a total of 9km and 2h10min. My longest walk this year by far. Was totally wiped out once we got home, but now feeling much better and satisfied that I did it. Especially since on the way back, I was tempted to just hop on a city bus to get home but I didn't, I just pushed through the tiredness and achy feet and incresing heat. I was determined to do this and I'm really proud that I did.

I stopped talking about going walking and actually did it. Now, I want to pledge to do this everyday this week no matter how I feel.

Mmmm... oreos....

I love these threads! Reading everyone's accomplishments is so fun. :cheer: WTG, everyone.

I stayed 100% on plan this weekend. Sure, I had a little bit too much TJ's cookie butter (do yourself a favor and don't ever buy this, lol) but it was all perfectly within reason, AND I exercised both days. Saturday I went on a nice long walk- while I'm normally so all-or-nothing that I dont' feel like I've accomplished anything unless I've sweat buckets at the gym, I told myself that something was better than nothing and I might as well do something to enjoy the beautiful day. Yesterday I went to my first ever weight lifting class (I pretty much can't move today, but it's worth it). Was totally scared to go to that class but I kept up pretty well.

Actually yesterday. I forced myself to drag myself to the Gym, I worked out perhaps in 80% model. I was sad, had no energy, and was almost in tears (long story) and was EXTREMLY frustrated....but I made it to the gym somehow. The will is getting stronger, instead of giving up and consuming tons of bad calories, I stuck to the plan.

Trust me, if you have a bad day, you can do it, if I can. ;0)

I pushed through the soreness and pushed play on the DVD player for my workout. I wanted to skip another day but my body could bear it. :) Just a lil soreness, no aches, no pains.

Do you guys know how BADLY I have been wanting an Oreo, lol.

I picked up some cheese crackers and saw that they had about a million carbs and quickly put them back.

It's funny how I now look at the nutritional value of everything.

I did not binge when the garbage disposal went wacky spewing gunky stuff (along with egg yokes) under the sink and up the drain. I had to discenfect everything because of the egg yokes (samonella). BUT - I didn't eat over the frustration. Am grateful for that.

Today I cleaned my 3 stuffed-full t shirt drawers and now have 2 mostly-full drawers. I have a huge pile of stuff to donate- giving away most of my men's XL t shirts and all of my size 20 & 22 pants.

I went to Old Navy and bought 3 shirts, all woman's XL and men's L.

Next up is my tank top & shorts drawer and bathing suits & misc clothes drawer.

Went to a baptism today, at the reception afterwards, there was alcohol, which I had none of.
There was red velvet cake, which I only took a bite off my fiance's plate.
And I only succumbed to ONE bite of brownie.

It's great to have a man who'll eat whatever, because I can just satisfy any craving with one tiny bite. lol

I wish my husband was the kind who shared desserts. He is a slim guy who eats healthy most of the time, so when he wants a tiramisu or an ice cream, he can have it. However, he does not like to share. So it's usually up to me to order my own and eat half and leave it or go without.

He's a great guy of course and I love him to death, but his answer to "oh I only want a few bites" is "just order one and take a few bites." It just seems like such of waste of food and money to me, though.

I walked to work today despite being extremely sore from gym yesterday so I was proud of myself for that :)

I also ate very healthy today and avoided having any of the candy coworkers brought in. It's hard for me to resist when others are eating it so saying no was a big step!

This morning, I decided to do a bit of weight training. I never exercise before going to work (my face stays red for a long while afterwards), but I knew that I would be too tired to do anything after work, so I bit the bullet and did 20 minutes of upper body work. It's not much but it's better than nothing.

I was crazy tired today from lack of sleep last night (insomnia is SO fun...) and I still did everything I had planned, including my walk! The old me would have taken a nap on the couch, passed on the walk, and decided to run all of my errands "tomorrow". Yay!!!

Yesterday:
After I was done with work, I walked to the farmers' market and bought a bunch of fresh produce. Got about 5 lbs of potatoes, 2 lbs of peppers, 2 spaghetti squash, a pineapple, and carton of strawberries. I loaded it all into my backpack and walked farther still, to Walmart! I bought a 3 lb bag of flour, several bottled drinks, and a few cans of veggies.

Whew, that was quite a load to haul back home 3 miles.

I'm so proud of myself because I wouldn't have been able to carry all that just a couple months ago. I'm happy to see practical benefits from lifting weights for 2 months! Now I can haul a ridiculous amount of groceries on my back and arms for 3 miles! :)

I made dinner! Our AC is broken and it was HOT and miserable in here today! All I wanted to do was go out to eat with the hubs in some nice, cool, air conditioned restaurant. Instead I made our dinner as planned and we sat in front of some high powered fans all night, lol.

I was so tempted to have hot chocolate, cake or a meat pie today, when I was at the shops. It's a miserable winters day, pouring with rain for the last week. And very busy on the roads and supermarkets.

But I prevailed, and only had a sushi roll instead, for lunch.....

I just had my weekly weigh in at Weight Watchers a few hours ago and I've lost 3.6 pounds .. so happy! I'm only 1.4 away from 25 pounds lost & only 3.7 until I'm in the 200's. I haven't been under 300 in about four years & in less than a month I know I will be able to reach 299.9! Feels so great! :)

I went grocery shopping with my son and for 1st time in 4 year bought only healthy food. As we where leaving I asked my son as he walked off with his cart to look in my cart and see what was missing. CASES OF COKE!! "Right on Mom I thought I'd never see the day". I came home and informed my skinny husband as he perused the bags that he'd have to shop for his own goodies now.

I found myself in a Starbucks today, which is very hot, and ordered only an unsweetened ice tea rather than a frapuccino. I also stayed away from the very tempting pastry cabinet. And this Starbucks doesn't even list calorie content, so I might have used my usual magical thinking, which is "that sweetbread is small and doesn't have candy on it, how can it be a lot of calories"?

but I didn't!
