Weight Loss Support - down a pound and needing to work my BUTT OFF!

So my weigh in was tonight and I'm down another pound which makes my total weight loss 20 lbs!!!! yay!!!!!!!

I also found out tonight that there are only 3 weeks left of the Biggest Loser Challenge I'm involved in in my town and the person who's winning is only beating me by 2 lbs! They have lost 11 pounds and I've lost 9 (that's since startign this challenge!).

I now realize that I need to work my butt off for the next 3 weeks because I want to win this challenge! The prize is at least a few hundred bucks (which I could really use right now!!)

If you're a praying person please pray that I can have the energy to exercise and do what I need to do and resist temptation! If you're not a praying person then any encouragement is welcome! haha

Oh, congrats on your progress! You can do this, you can definitely win this challenge, you're so close to the person in the lead! I'm sure you are strong enough to win.

I'll check back on this thread to give you dosages of encouragement! :D

Does the challenge go by lbs or %? Wouldn't be very fair if it went by lbs.

Lucky streak - it actually goes by lbs lost and not percentage... I know, not the most fair, but whatever... Im still close! Haha

Well I've worked out like every day this week and have kept my calories between 1200 and 1300!! I'm actually feeling proud of myself!

I even started some weight training with a trainer at work (I feel like I wanna die, but I think I'm doing well!!) hahaha

So weigh in tonight was great an my hard work this week has yielded another 4lbs lost!!!!!! Woohooo!!

As of right now, I have caught up to the leader and we have lost the same amount! 2 weeks left - hopefully I can keep up this pace!!!!

Ok update time! Haha.

Last night was my second last weigh in - I lost 3 more pound (woohoo!!) but am still in second place! This leader is quite the loser!! Haha. As of her weight last week she was down 17.4 lbs and I was down 15.8 lbs this week (for this program!). I don't know what her weight this week was, but if she lost it just puts her that much ahead of me!! This means crunch time and I can't cheat for this last week! My total weightless is now 27 lbs and I need another big loss next week to win this!!

Depending on how much money is on the line you might want to consider a little water manipulation on the final couple days. That should be good for an extra 2-3 lb boost.

And JohnP - the money on the line is a few hundred bucks - somebody said like $500, but I don't know if that's 100% accurate, even so I could still really use the money!!! haha

What does water manipulation mean? I've been drinking lots of water lately! lol

I TOTALLY agree! Drop the dairy, bananas, & limit the carbs for a week.
Invest in some cranberry, diurex, & Flax Seed for the next few days!

Thanks K9Owner! A friend at work just told me to cut out the sugar! haha I will check out diurex - I had never heard of it before and what does flax seed do? Same as cranberry - what does that do?

Flax: Natural fiber (buy it in the flour area of your market)
Cranberry: Natural diuretic ( the juice works well--just dilute it in water to save on cals)

Great job so far on your contest!! In April, I won my gyms biggest loser contest :) so I second the water pill idea you'll do grea!!!
