Sherry-Your attachments are always TOO funny!! You are so creative to find them all!!
How do you get all your water in? I have also gotten 6 glasses in for the last 3 days, but that's only because I'm on a 30 day challenge on the WW board, and want to get a high score. I guess you could say I'm an over-acheiver. Anyway, I have been floating away with all the water I'm drinking. I'm up all night, and having to have a bathroom close wherever I go--not to mention when I jog, I have to run home to take a break. I have been tempted to use the construction worker's porta pottys that are located throughout my subdivision. Do you think that's okay to do??:D At least now, it's not a poop problem!!
Jennelle-I got your PM. You are wonderful!! We need all the help we can get. We were working all day yesterday on our banners, decorations and outfits. We are going to wear black and white. We made a big disco ball using aluminum foil. We made a banner with Stayin' Alive in glitter paint. Things are starting to come together somewhat!!

I don't think anyone would mind you using the portapotties, Shelley. It's better than the alternative!

Sherry, the boys are both fine. I really feel that if they do have to go at all, it will be during the peacekeeping phase in a few months. I know anything can happen, but deep down inside, I think they will get to stay here for now. Thank you for keeping them in your thoughts. When I heard last night that a Marine had been killed, I hurt so badly for his mother.

How's all my FLOOZIE friends today?
I have spent all day washing picture frames! Taking the pics out and cleaning the glass.I'll be ready to go back to work Monday from doing so much this week!!
Shelley.........
It was so hard to start drinking the water because I hate it! But once I started it was like I was craving it!!! I'm already on my 5th glass and it's only 2:15!! :D I think it would be fine if you use the porta-potty!! Just make sure no construction worker is in there!! Then again.......
Ramona.........
Thank you for letting me know the boys are safe! Yes..I feel for the marine's family too.For that matter...ALL THE families involved!
Will post more later.......
Hope you're having a great OP Friday!! ;)

Sherry you clean to much! lol You need to do something for yourself.
Ramona I have thought of your sons often. I am glad that you feel that they will not have to fight the war.
Debbie how is James this afternoon?
Shelley go for it.....use the porta potty. Larry does all the time when he has to go. I have a camel bladder so I usually wait til we get home, and I love to drink water. I must drink 8-10 14 oz glasses a day. The only other thing I drink is coffee in the morning and maybe tea at supper.
I will be going to the hospital tonight. Dad is there this afternoon. When people ask me how mom is I don't even know what to say! I don't know......all I know is the facts of her health.......yeah she is really sick but I don't know how sick. She had a rough day yesterday. Good thing is her blood had been stable for 2 days. It needs to be stable 3 days before they take her off the IV blood thinner. Only thig is she developed another blood clot in her leg yesterday and they were really conserned about the one in her lungs. They told us yesterday that mom would be in a wheel chair 2-5 months. Don't know if this is accurate as everything they tell us takes a twist and I don't think that they really know themselves. We will have to wait and see.
Just thought that while I was home this afternoon that I would check in with you all.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Hello Group!!!!
Shelley: Have fun tonight!
Sher: Here's my helpful hint for cleaning the glass in my picture frames. I take an old towel/rag and mist it with alcohol, then I run that over the glass. This way I don't need to remove the pic in fear of getting dampness under the glass. BTW: This is how I clean all of my glass and mirrors.
Deb: How's James????
Ramona: Pretty scary stuff happening over there. I'm glad to hear that maybe your son's won't have to go...
Dee: At least now your Mom is on the mend. Maybe with some bed rest and getting around in the wheel chair, she will have a chance to recuperate instead of pushing herself so hard.
All you low carbers: I found an interesting site: www.LowCarbFriends.com they even have a bulletin board to post messages.

Way funny Jennelle! I prefer just a slight layer of dust on my pictures. Leaves just a hint of film, creating a non-glare surface to the glass.....
Busy trying to straighten up this disaster called a home after two weeks of constant running in and out!!! I still have eight boxes of stuff to go through and organize from the home show last weekend!! PLUS!!! I still need to get all of the donation prizes mailed out or delivered! This is my goal for the weekend plus staying OP!!!!!
Have a super weekend girls, enjoy the weather!

Hello Ya'll
I hope that you're having a great OP weekend!! :) Today is day 6th for me for having only WATER to drink & doing extra exercises and cutting back on my portions!! :cp: I'm looking forward to weighing tomorrow!
For everyone that's having a hard time: What really helped me...Don't laugh......Is taking off all of my clothes and standing in front of the mirror! What an UGLY site!! Try it...it works! I told myself that there is no way I could walk around this summer with that much fat rolls hanging on this bod! Especially in a swim suit!!! I'm so motivated and know I will reach my goal this time!! :cb:
We went to Debbie's Brothers workshop yesterday and had a yard sale.I wasn't able to take big items because we don't have a truck so I took what I could in the car.I still made 67.00...not too bad I reckon. It was a beautiful day as is today!
Going to start dusting & vacuuming. Then I'm going out for a nice long walk in this BEAUTIFUL weather!!
Sure hope that everyone posts soon!!

Sherry - Nakedness is my big motivator, as well.
I'm down 5 lbs. this week. WOO-HOO!!! I have been tracking my calorie intake using Fitday.com. It really helps to see it all laid out like that! Anyhow, my average calorie intake for the week was 1574 cals. per day. Knowing that big losses are usually mostly due to a loss of water weight, I've decided to keep my daily intake goal at right around 1600 cals. If I lose more than 2 lbs. next week, I will up it to 1700 cals/day.

Sherry your easter bunny is so cute! I am glad that you are motivated again. I am too. I just can't see myself sitting around our pool the way that I look right now.
Larry's sister had twins last night. She had a boy and a girl. Evan Mitchel weighs 7.7 pounds and Haily Christine weighs 6.3 pounds. She has a boy that just turned 3 last month and a girl that is 1 1/2 years old. Busy Mama.
Mom still is not well. I am not going to the hospital today. I need the day off. I am just running on fumes. I have been there everyday but one. My sister will go today and my Dad. Dad has been there everyday but yesterday.
Well I am going to hope on my bike and get some exercise in. Hope everyone has a sunny day.

Hi Girls
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. The weather here is wonderful, near 70 today. James is doing a lot better, although the last few days have been rough. His pain is getting less and less everyday. I never realized how much my husband helps me, until he isn't able to do it. He is a sweetie, but I bad patient...LOL.
Dee...Glad you Mom is doing better. Please take care of yourself and don't get exhausted. Hope you had a nice bike ride.
Ramona.....James had a inguinal hernia. The doctor said it probably developed over several months. James waited until the pain got so bad he had to go to the doctor...just like a man!! Hope your boys are save. I pray for our troops!!
Sherry...Can you believe spring break is over?? What spring break?? LOL On the bright side though...there is only 9 more weeks of school!! Hope it goes by fast!! BTW... MY Nakedness...LMAO!!! What a scarey thought!!
Carol...Where are you?? Come on back, I know you haven't done as bad as me this last week. I'm going to hang around here and hope some of this motivation rubs off on me.
Jennelle...WTG!! on your weightloss!!! Are you still doing BFL?
Gayle...You are one busy girl!! How is the Adkins going? I love those Lowcarb sites, they even have a chat room on one of them.
Shelley....How did the relay go? Did the Stayin Alive group...stay alive? I'm sure everyone did great, who won?
Love to all my floozie friends.
As you have probably guessed by now, I HAVE DONE JUST AWFUL THIS LAST WEEK. Guess I've been on the Ronald McDonald plan. :(
I have never considered myself a stress and emotional eater, but just add it to the list. Please, please tell me it's not to late for me!!! I don't want to be the only FAT girl at the beach this summer!! Wish I had a dime for everytime I've had to start over, I'd be rich!!! Sorry for the pity party.
Love ya Deb

Taking a break.Got the WHOLE house done, laundry & my car washed. When my break is up I'm going to wash the car inside & the windows...THEN WALK!!
Dear Debbie,
I was going to write you an email but then decided it would be best to just post it here so because we are all so close friends.
At the yard sale yesterday, I knew you were very down on yourself and depressed. I've known you too long not to know that! That bothers me and I'll do EVERYTHING in my power to bring "Debbie" back.
I know how terrible it is to have your hubby sick and being off plan.Remember Wayne with his heart attacks? I know you also were planning to have a "Free Debbie week" and then James got sick and had to have surgery. I think that was the reason of you getting off your diet. You've done a WONDERFUL job of taking care of James and he's so lucky to have you!! But tomorrow is a NEW day, you'll be back at work, James is doing better and now it's your time to go right back to being OP!! ;)
Do you remember this time last year how good you were doing? I was so impressed with you! You had so much motivation & energy and was loosing!! You gave me so much support too. I'm going to let what happened at Wendy's yesterday go.I'm not going to fuss at you about it either. But starting tomorrow, I'll push you, fuss at you, support you, motivate you AND love you! You can do this and you will! I know how much you want to lose.It hurts me to see you so down about it.
So I'm ending this with a GREAT BIG HUG :grouphug: and tell you that EVERYONE here loves and will support & motivate you!!
Now do me a favor....(Hey..this works for Jennelle too! ) Go get naked, stand in front of the mirror, keep turning around.Do you like what you see? Ask yourself (right into the mirror) if you want to be this size or bigger the rest of your life? Or do you want to lose and be healthy? Thin? Look good? Feel Good?
I'm not giving up on you Debbie and YOU AREN'T EITHER!!
I love you....thanks for being my best friend over all these years and for going through bad & good times with me.

Debbie-We love you no matter what!! How many times have we all started over??? I can't begin to count for me!!
Sherry-You tire me out!!! I ended up NOT cleaning during Spring Break. The most I did was laundry and mopping (which needs to be done again anyway.) I think I dusted, but you can't tell it now!:) I am so bad. I wish I had 1/2 the energy and wants to get my house out of disarray that you do!!
BTW, I can't stand to look at myself naked!! Doesn't help me 1 bit to do it!!:o
Ramona-I am so glad your boys don't have to go over there right now. There is nothing on TV except the war and the situation in Iraq. I pray for all the soldiers over there.
Gayle-Did you get your house clean??
Dee-I have to tell you how our prayer works on Friday nights. The Rabbi asks if while the Torah is open for anyone to stand who has loved ones that are ill, and cannot be with them tonight. Then we say the names aloud as we are called on 1 by 1. We then all stand, and he says the prayer for all of them. Please know that your name is always on my list. Maybe someday though, all the prayers will come true and you and yours will be well. I surely hope so, but until then you will always remain in my prayers.
I dearly love each and everyone of you, even though we haven't met in person. It's amazing how close people can get just through writing!!
:grouphug: We are so lucky to have one another!!

Hi Debbie,
You are in good company here. Each and every one of us have gone on the Ronald McDonald plan more times than we can count. Don't beat yourself up...you can and will retake control of your food and no matter what you eat you are still a very special and well loved person. I struggle with this myself...I try not to judge my worth by the number on the scale, it is about the person that I am.

I am afraid to go back to Crystal Lite because then I'm afraid that I won't drink all this water...so therefore I'll stick to just WATER!!

Hey Sherry,
Congrats on the big weight loss, 5 LBS. woo hoo!!! Also, thanks for the welcoming words. You are a very gracious board host. How long have you been doing this? Do you host other boards? Just curious and I'm sure other newbies would like to hear about our very supportive and creative (love all your cute icons) host!
I went out for dinner with the girls and feel like I did okay...may have pushed it a little since I had two glasses of wine. We went to P.F. Chang's (a modern chinese restaurant) and I shared an appetized of chicken wraps (chopped up spicy chicken wrapped in lettuce) and had steamed halibut for my main course. Topped it off with decaf with cream...I feel like I cheated maybe because of the wine. My workout today was intense, so hopefully that counts for something!
We've got the momentum Floozies, keep on losing!!!!

Since the kids weren't there yesterday, we were able to leave early. I got my run in at 2PM, and it was hot!! Not as humid as normal, though.
I screwed up last night. I was doing so good, and then starting eating more of the container of FF whip than I should. Anyway, I ended up have 6 points worth of it, then had a cup of cereal (dry) . My total for the day was about 35 points!! Oh well, today is another day. I bought a new sipper yesterday for my water. It holds 64 oz. I am going to try to drink it all everyday. Sherry, you are right, the more you drink, the more of it you crave!!
Jennelle and Debbie-WTG for coming back to the exercise board!! You both did awesome yesterday.
Time for work--just had my bowl of oatmeal and my coffee. Looking forward to a busy day with all the kids back!!

Hi girls!!! Sounds like everyone is doing great!!!!!!
I need a few words of encouragement! Since starting this WOE the end of February, I weighed today, staying the same, meaning that I have only a 3 pound loss!!! Some of you girls are up to a 10-11 pound loss for about the same amount of time!!!
What the heck am I doing wrong?????? I weigh my portions, add the veggies and try to stay OP????? My clothes do feel a little looser, but what the flip is going on with the frick'n scale?????
At this rate I will be "fluffy" forever!!!!! I need to be working on getting rid of this gain from over the holidays and winter months.

Gayle, it is only my humble opinion, but from reading your menus, I don't think you are eating enough! I bet you aren't even getting 1000 calories some days. Try to not weigh your portions. If you can, try to eat a little more protein each day and see if that makes a difference. When I eat a ground chuck pattie, for instance, it is a BIG one. You can tell me to mind my own business if you want and I'll understand. I just know that when I get stuck, I up my portions to fuel my furnace and it almost always works! If you can't eat that much at one time, try 5 or 6 smaller meals throughout the day.
OK, I'll hush now....lol
Love ya,
Ramona

Ramona, you silly goose!!!!! How could I get upset with you? Honestly, I feel like I am eating like a pig! Yesterday I had bacon, eggs, chicken, cheese, olive oil, peanuts, plus the veggies & dressing! My stirfry consisted of 4 cups of veggies plus the chicken. My calories average almost 1300-1500, yesterday racking a little over 1600!
Yesterday my figures showed:
calories: 1625
Fat: 88
Carbs: 26
Protein: 149 ** Plus I drink at least 112 oz. of water a day!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could it be the diet cola's???? I usually have 1-2 cans per day.
What source do you guys use to figure the calories/fat/carbs/protein of foods?

Shelley I want you to know that what you said brought tears to my eyes. I am so lucky to have you as a friend. About having 35 points it may not be a bad thing.......on the wendy plan they suggest one day a week higher points and then a mix of lower points. I think that it tricks your body that way.
Debbie I am glasd that James is doing good. Keep drinking that water. If I over eat I try to drink as much water as possible. It helps to keep me from gaining.
Sherry that is unbelievable 7 new kids now! You are doing great work on the dieting. Keep it up. It is very incouraging.
Gayle I don't know what to tell you about what to do. I don't know how to low carb. But one thing.....you should be happy that you didn't gain 3 pounds.
I have to run. I have a ton of stuff to do today and it is tea time day. I think mom is getting out of the hospital today. We will have to wait and see. She looked much better yesterday. The swelling and the pain in her leg may be there for a few months. I will let you all know later if she gets out. There was a few days there that I thought that she wasn't going to make it. She just had to many blood clots in her lungs. They are still there but over time they will dissolve.
Hope you all have an on program day.

Gayle, I would try leaving the diet sodas off. It sure worked for me, but everyone is different. Sometimes the aspartame and caffiene can be a culprit. I can drink one now after 2 years without them and I blow up like a balloon!
Just hang in there girl.....you are doing great!!!!
Shelley, I treasure all my floozie friends each and every day. You are a sweatheart!
Dee, I'm so glad your mom is doing better. I hope things continue to look up for you. How is Dez doing?
Debbie, that's great to hear that James is doing so well. I'm sure your TLC is the greatest part of his healing.
Sherry, keep drinking that water girl!!! Your hair, skin, and body will love you for it!
Jeane, I'm not sure what the wine will do. Just be sure to drink a little extra water and I'm sure you'll be fine.

We are making some headway with stuff that we need to do, but are having company this weekend so will need to back off. They won't actually be staying here but expect we'll see a lot of them though know those 2 lovebirds will want their private time (she is almost 70 and he's about the same age).
Glad everyone seems to be hanging on.
