Gee .. No one is around tonight. I feel like I have bad breath or something. :?:  I went to chat and no one was there. I come here and no one is here. :( Where is everyone?????

I had a wonderful day !!! Except... my knee. :(
We went out for lunch and I stayed on program. We went to Famous Daves and I ordered their cajun chicken sandwich and substituted a salad for the fries. I did not eat the bun.... the chicken was delicious on its own. I did eat the top off of their famous muffin. :sssh: Just too good to pass up completely. LOL

Then we went to the movies. My knee hurt soooo bad walking there I had to go into the bathroom and just have a good cry.
I am sooo tired of being in so much pain. I am going to be home bound if I don't get this weight off soon. At least I am headed in the right direction... finally.
We saw "The Hours". I am not sure how to describe it. :?:
It is definitely not an "entertaining" movie  ... but I really heard some good lines I wish I could share with you. And I would... except I can't remember a single one. It is one of those movies that have three different stories all going on at the same time... one in 1920's, one in 1950's and one in 2001 ...but then later show you how they all innertwine.

It is a very serious movie... and teaches some valuable lessons.
Mainly ... to appreciate the small things in life. The hours you spend making cookies with your kids, the hours you and your husband have quality time together. It was kind of a sad movie...but it doesn't make you cry. Also.... you need to have an open mind too because there are a some controversial issues in it.
Did I like it???? I did not know during the movie... but once it was over... I did.
BUT... my husband would have hated it. But he is not very open minded to some issues. It is not for everyone.

Then this evening we went out for dinner too. :D This time I had garlic grilled shrimp and a salad. It was good. :T Like I said... I had a great day. :D

I will be back later and reply to everyone. Need to go for now.
I just wanted "someone" to be posted here. LOL

03-20-2003, 02:24 AM
I don't know if it is in poor taste to post on an evening such as tonights ... :?:
...but I do know that what is important to me is for all of YOU to know how much you mean to me. The situation of the world makes you stop and appreciate what you have TODAY because we truly do not know what tomorrow holds for us.
My prayers are with all of you as well as your families, loved ones, and the rest of the world and especially our servicemen and women.

Deon... I want to congratulate you and making it Tuesday night.
Yes... we are all here for each other.

Thin... I hate that you lost your post. I think I will copy now while I am thinking about it. when I write long posts I always try to remeber to copy after each reply.

Sandy... I sure hope I did not jinx you. I HATE those ads. I had one again tonight. It seems once it does it once it does not do it again until next time you come on.
I know the pressure of everyone thinking your marriage is the closest to perfect compare to others near you. I suffered with that for years. I wish I still had that problem. LOL Unfortunately everyone knows better now. LOL

Mary... My husband and I used to enjoy eating at Bob Evans too.
It has been years since we have been there. We used to do a LOT of traveling for my daughters sports events. We traveled all over since she was 11 years old. Once she graduated high school that all ended.

Michelle... It sounds like you and Andrew had a wonderful day together. I always like hearing those stories.

Kat... I have lots of things I want to say to YOU. LOL
First....Congratulatons on your 2 pounds !!!!!!
Second... you made me blush. :o Thank you for the kind compliment.
Third...I have not tried the Boca Burger Chicken. I wish I could remember which one is the best burger. Tastes like it came straight off the grill. Mmmm
fourth... the movie review... I already covered that one.
Fifth...I am proud of you for being so productive. I have always wanted to go read flylady but spend too much time in here.
But... I am learning from you. That is what I basicly did yesterday.... I procrastinated about that spare bedroom and I feel good today. :D

TINA !!!!! Where the heck are you ???? I am starting to get worried.

Lucky, Baylee, Donna, Duckie, Ravyn, Sara, Jen, J-ann , Steph, Moongodess..... I am missing all of you too. I know some of you have posted recently but not like you usually do.... and others are not posting at all. Where is my family??? I hope I did not forget someone. :o As the ole saying goes... I am just human. Please forgive me if I did. In fact... come in here and YELL at me or something. :s:

Ladies... let's not take another day for granted.
Let's not take what we have here together for granted.
Keeping this family together is important too.

O.k., on a happier note, I am so happy I lost 3.5 this week. I had a mishap last night. I got up and someone had left a package of gs cookies on the table opened and what did I do? Before I knew it I had eatten 2 of them. But I will add it on to todays pts. I know nothing is forbidden on this plan, but gosh sometimes it just feels like you cheated.

2cute, I was in chat lastnight for a bit, I think around 9:00 and I just sat there and kept checking back. Then Baylee came in and we chatted for a while, then around 10 I signed off because I was engrossed in the tv and wanted to hear President Bushes address. I'm usually not up to much past 10 because the kids need to be up at 6:15 the next morning to be ready for the bus by 7:20 or so. Then I get the bathroom to myself and have to be to work by 9 a.m.

Tina??? Where are you???? We have not heard Tonys name in so long and I miss you:( .

Lucky, Donna, Duckie, Ravyn, Sara, Jen, J-ann , Steph, Deon, Moongodess & Kat???? Can you come out to play today? The sun is shinning bright here and it's already 30 degrees Farenhiet out.....:D (thats warm here in Maine:cool: :D )

Love and Hugs to all,

03-20-2003, 08:15 AM
I read all your posts but don't have the strength to post to all of you. I contracted food poisoning Tues night and am still sick as a dog. I was in bed all day yesterday, but my back was hurting so I got up when DH got home so he could help me down the stairs. I have been terribly dizzy.

I did want to say to Sandy that I did see your avatar and it cracked me up.

You guys take care and know I am thinking about you. Oh, and say a little prayer for two weekend jobs I applied for. One is as a receptionist and the other a real estate appt operator.

Love to you all!

03-20-2003, 08:52 AM
First let me say

Someone asked about Bob Evans, It is a chain of resturants mostely north of Mississippi. They have wonderful food.

My brother called yesterday. His girlfriend left and took the baby. Now she is saying that the baby is not my brothers. It is killing him. He is so depressed and says he has nothing to live for.

Food is soso I want to snack all the time but I am still holding my weight no loss though.

Well I just finished watching my soap I recorded yesterday so I better go catch a shower before my son gets in from work.

I stopped in at chat about 8:30 last night Sandy San was there but must have been having a problem she never responded to my posts.

Lets keep this country in our prayers and hopefully this war will be over soon.

I love all of you

03-20-2003, 11:13 AM
I am thankful for all of you!:grouphug:
I'm thankful for my family and that we are all here together. I am thankful for our troops. I am thankful I have life.

After that, Donna:!I have never had food poisoning, but I've heard it is miserable. Take care and get better.

2cute:I have just been very busy these past couple of days. Sorry I haven't posted, I have read though.

Sandy:Congrats on the 3.5!:bravo: And don't worry about the cookies, as long as you counted them. I had an encounter with some gs cookies awhile back myself, but luckily my kids and DH were able to eat them before I could get to them. I checked the points on them, whew! they are high. But sometimes ya gotta just do it.:cookie:

Well tonight is WI and I feel pretty good about it, even though TOM will be here soon and I know I am retaining, I still ate good all week. Still no exercise, but I think this weekend I will be going for a long walk. We have a daffodil festival and I will be walking to the school for all the festivities. It will be a good thing. :)

I am also thankful for my dogs even though they bark way too much.:df: (no pic for a dog, so you get a dragonfly.) hehe.

Everyone hug your kids real tight tonight!:grouphug:

Hello again ya'll. :D

I am babysiting my youngest grandbaby today. I just laid her down. She fell asleep in my arms and I just sat and held her sleeping for like 40 minutes. I just did not want to let go of her.

Ohoh.... she just woke up. I guess she misses grandmas warm soft boobies. My arms are nicer to sleep in than an old cold baby bed. :D

03-20-2003, 02:15 PM
Well, I am sort of on the mend. I am still running to the bathroom, but not the cramping and nausea as before.

2cute: My kids always called my boobs pillows! Thomas being a breastfed kid thinks boobs are the answer to all the worlds problems I think! There is certainly nothing like holding grandbabies that is for sure!

Mary: I will certainly pray for your brother and the problems. I know it has to be tearing his heart out.

Deon: Thanks for the good thoughts. My behind is going to hate me for a long time to come!!!

I think we are all thankful that God has allowed us to live freely and without retribution. We take for granted what we are allowed to do here, how we can travel, speak our minds, love whom we like and worship our God. I thank God for the courage of our president to stand up to criticism and ostracism to do what is right and thank God for each and every member of the military at home or abroad. God Bless and keep those Navy, Marine Army, Air Force spouses and children who have to endure the distance between them and their man. No one knows better than I what it is like to have them gone and in danger. We applaud you and your courage!!! :cp: :cp:

For those who live in America and have attacked our president's decision, you should be ashamed of yourself. Having a difference of opinion is fine, but when we need to stand together as we do now, any division is not good. Our flag, our Pledge of Allegience and our Star Spangled Banner, should inspire us to stand together, protect one another and pray for all our safety!

May God Bless and Keep you all, dear friends!

03-20-2003, 02:23 PM
Hello out there...

I have nothing to say at the moment...can you beleive it?

I'll be back.

03-20-2003, 02:32 PM
Ohoh.... she just woke up. I guess she misses grandmas warm soft boobies. Thank you 2cute, I don't know if you intended to make me laugh on that one, but it did. It was just the pick up I needed today. And....without a doubt, true. Of course, I also envisioned that little website Sandy showed us a couple of weeks ago with the little granny dancing and boobs flying round and round. Anyways...the two connected made me laugh.

I've not been awol because I've been off program. On the contrary, I'm still OP, and have been exercising regularly. :smug: I have just been in a very melancholy mood lately, but I think I'm finally starting to come around. I'm sorry if I worried anyone. :?: That was not my intent. I should remember that I have family that lives inside my computer (and heart) that do not live in my house. I apologize for my rudeness. Please forgive me. :^:

This post is going to be short because I'm at work and if Chatty Cathy sings one more bar of "Oh I wish I were a little bar of soap, " I'm going to spontaneously combust! :yikes: I promise, I will give you a long post this evening when I get home, but it will have to do you for the entire weekend, because for those of you that remember, I'm going to BRISTOL this weekend!

I am so excited for two reasons... #1. Hello! It's Bristol! A track you can't get tickets to, (thank you, little woman that works with dh) AND believe it or not...this will be mine and Ron's honeymoon. That's right ladies...this is actually the first time that we've stayed in a hotel room alone, without the kids with us, since we've been married. We were married very young and couldn't afford to go on a trip after our wedding. We actually left the church and went straight to our little dinky apartment that we rented and before we knew it..
BOOM! Here came the kids and well, I'm sure you can guess the rest. I don't know if we'll even know how to act.

Don't get any ideas though. :s: It's my TOM :dz: and I don't think dh is ready to wear the red badge of courage this weekend. Unless of course, he's desperate.

Donna: Sorry you've been ill with food poisoning. Here's a big {{{{hug}}}}

Lucky: Below is some inspiration for you. Hope it will bring you out...

To the rest, I promise...you will have a big long post TONIGHT!

03-20-2003, 05:24 PM
GEEZ....Tina, is the man praying for a win at Bristol? :) My Dh hopes that his man has come down off :cloud9: and is ready to defend his win last weekend. What a race, even I was yelling at the TV.....I did not see the Bush series but my sil said it practically ended the same way. It sure was exciting to watch.

Have fun on your belated honeymoon. Sorry TOM is around, but well there is a lot said for cuddling. (yeah right :s: ) My dh dosnt know what cuddling is, it always leads tot he rest.

Yes dh and I are okay again, for a bit anyway. We will see how much he actually pitches in.

Donna, glad your feeling better now.

Kat? Nothing to say :?:

2cute, babies always sleep better in the arms of love don't they.

Deon, good luck at WI tonight. Keep up the good work.

Check back later.

Hugs to all,

03-20-2003, 06:12 PM
Hello everyone! I finally have some time to try this posting thing again.

I got through my 6 minutes on the Airwalker on Tuesday and then messed up and haven't been on since. :( I have found that I need to do it before I leave the house in the morning, because when I get back in in the afternoon after running around doing jobs, I'm just too dang tired. I will try to get on it this afternoon when I'm finished here. I want to work this into a habit, not just hit or miss.

Sara: I'm so proud of you! Half your original size! My goodness what an accomplishment. :D

Katrina: "(NY) In NYC, women may go topless in public, providing it is not being used as a business." Is this why you like to go to the city so much????

Donna: Sorry to hear about the food poisoning. Yuck. Hope you feel better real soon.

2cute: I didn't mean to cause you cardiac arrest. Enjoy that babysitting job. I can just picture you two in the rocker.

Michelle: Sounds like you and Andrew had a really nice day together.

Sandy: CONGRATS on the 3.5 pounds! Good Girl! * A friend of mine used to go 'on strike' all the time. Her DH came home several times to find all of his stuff out on the front lawn. Unfortunately, I'm here to tell you that they get the hint for a day or two and then it's back to normal. :(

Mary: Sorry to here about your brother's troubles. Is he going to demand DNA tests or anything? That's probably the only way that he will have any leverage to see this baby. It's really too bad. [[[hugs]]]

Tina: Have a GREAT weekend! I'm glad you checked in before you leave. And BTW, I'm sure you and DH will figure out how to act! :o Have fun, sweetie!

Deon: I'm so glad you made it through you munchies attack the other night. Good for you. You've been doing so well, I'm sure WI (not Wisconsin) will go well for you.

Ducky: Nice to see you checking in. Come back more often, we miss you.

Moongoddess: Did we lose you already? Come on back and post. We're harmless, well, almost.

Steph: My prayers are with you for your MIL. I hope everything turns out ok. [[[hugs]]] It sounds like you're committed to your walking which is really wonderful. Keep up the good work.

Lucky and Baylee: Get your butts back in here!!!

Jen: Know that our thoughts are with you. Stop in and talk to us. We're here for you. [[[hugs]]]

Well, girls, I hope I didn't miss anyone. I had to pretty much do speed reading to catch up, which seems to mean 'scan' more than I usually do. If I don't get back in here before next week, have a great weekend. I know I will.

Love  to all.

God Bless America!

03-20-2003, 07:14 PM
Tina... my boobs are MUCH nicer than that old ladies in that website.
They may hang just as low... but mine are plump and cozy not dried and barren. :smug:
I just had to post and remove that mental image of my boobs from your mind.

And yes... it was okay to laugh. I thought it was funny too. ;)

I don't have time to respond to everyone. Maybe tonight.

03-20-2003, 08:30 PM
Those are some nice eyes!!!

I just printed out all of the last thread and this one so I am off to read.

03-20-2003, 09:58 PM
Just a quick post...I had to work late tonight and I am ready for bed now!

I just wanted to let you all know that I did weigh in this morning before I went to work and I lost 1 lb....so thats a total of 11 lbs in 2 weeks. I did want it to be more than one pound but I can't say I did my absolute best with food this week so I'll talk it! And all I can say is I will give it my best this week! I really need to get exercising though...I know it comes off so much faster when you move move move!

OK sorry for not posting individually but I am really tired!

I'll catch up to you all later!

TTFN I love you guys! You are always there! Michelle

03-20-2003, 11:46 PM
Can't remember where I found this, but thought Tina might like it.

03-20-2003, 11:50 PM
Thought you could all use a laugh!!

03-21-2003, 01:13 AM
This will not be a big long post. :nono: I had a surprise visitor tonight and I am just now getting on the computer and I am pooped. :tired: Who was my visitor, you might ask? :chin: My brother! AND my new niece! :cb: In case I haven't told you guys, (I'm not sure if I have or not) my brother moved to Florida about 2 years ago and I have only seen him twice since then. Well, his wife just had a baby 3 weeks ago and I've just been aching to see her. Don't get me wrong...I love my boys and wouldn't trade them for all the girls in the world, but I always wanted a girl when I was pregnant with the boys and all of my cousins have had nothing but boys and my brother is the first one to have a girl and she's 14 hours away! Anyways, I'm sitting in the living room, minding my own business and who knocks on my door?! I was so excited, I started laughing and crying at the same time. I held her nonstop from the time they walked in the door till the time they left....I even got to feed her twice and change her. I was in heaven. :cloud9: Now I'm sad because I don't know how long it will be before I get to hold my niece again. {{{crying buckets here}}} He also didn't miss the chance to tease me that he drove all the way here to see me and I was running off and going to Bristol. He knew I was going to Bristol, he actually came in early, because he knew I would want to see her before I left.

Anyhoo, I keep making typos and this post is taking me forever because I'm so sleepy, so I'm getting off here for now. You probably won't see me again until Monday, but don't you worry, I'll be back, with many tales and pictures from the race. Have a wonderful weekend and I love you all.

And yes, I took a whole roll of film of me and the baby and I will share.

P.S. I knew that picture would bring you out Lucky. :s:

03-21-2003, 01:30 AM
No time for replys but I thought I would post a short one so everyone has something new to read when they come in.

I told you the other day I was going to try using cauliflower as a substitution for rice in my chinese meal. :chef: It worked pretty good. :)
I would not try to grate it like I did. The flowerettes are just too small to grate. Next time I am going to try my little chopper. I ended up just chopping it tiny with a serated knife. But the end result was... once you mix it in with all the chinese veggies and chicken and sauce you could not tell the difference. It had the texture of rice but not as many carbs. I will definitely do it again when I have chinese. Next time I am also going to try it as Mexican rice. :crossed:

Tonight I made a frozen spinach and artichoke dish. :T
I will post the recipe on Sunday. It is almost like a dip but more solid. I can't believe it .... ME trying veggie recipes.
It is almost as shocking as Thin exercising.

Tomorrow I am making something with portabello mushrooms.
I don't know what yet... I have NEVER had one ... so if you have a good recipe... please let me know. I am getting into this veggie thing. LOL

WE also made some kind of pumpkin dessert. We used 1 can of pumpkin, a box of SF vanilla pudding, 2 cups of skim milk, and 2 tsp of pumpkin spice. It is better cold... real cold. I think that is all that was in it. My daughter really liked it.... I preferred my dessert I made for me. The one with crystal lite powder. I think I already posted it. I used the strawberry/kiwi flavor. Mmmmmmm
Thin... if you haven't left yet... how do you make your pumpkin fluff? I thought you used cool whip???

Okay. I am headed out to do some more reading.
I have to be off of this computer before midnight.
I am really trying to improve my bad habit of stayin up so late... and the first step to improving that problem is to bar myself from this computer after midnight. :^:

Thankful Thursday.....
Thankful I am learning to try new veggies.
Thankful I am liking them too. LOL
Thankful I am happier eating healthier than eating whatever.
Thankful I have this computer and cyber friends.

By the time you read this it will be FUN FRIDAY !!!
I am going to the movies for my mid-day fun.
I am babysitting my grandbabies for my evening fun.
I am going to let my 2 year old GB make something fun to eat and have a craft project for her too. I don't know what yet... but something FUN !!!!!
Okay guys.... tell me some FUN things you are going to do !!!!!

03-21-2003, 04:22 AM
Alot of posts to read and catch up on, but I don't have time now. I am off to bed, it is late and I had a very long day. Just wanted to say that WI was ok, kinda dissapointed, I did really well and only lost 1.4. But am still happy with it, just gonna give an even harder try next week. Will include exercise. Gotta go, can barely type am so tired. Nite all!

Good morning chicks,

Tina, I know your off to Bristol, hope you have a wonderful time. Funny thing, we have a town called Brisol here, it is the next one over from mine...

Deon, don't get discouraged I also have small losses some weeks when I think I have been so good. But I think it is our bodies saying OMG what are you doing to me? It will eventually give up the lbs and the scales will go down:D (patience)

2Cute, I make that pumpkin pudding all the time, I love it. And what I do is put some in a dish and top with some coolwhip and mix it all up in my bowl. Really great. And I will have to investigate this cauliflower thing for the rice. I have never eatten portabella mushrooms, always wanted to try them but don't know what to do with them. I love regular mushrooms. Please let me know how they were and what you did with them.

I don't think my fun Friday will consist of to much. I have this horrible cold. I have been trying to fight it off for 3 days now, but every morning I have woken up a little worse. I should probably stay home from work today, but I hate to use my vacation time and really need the money so I don't want to take a personal day either. Oh moms, we are super human. The kids have the day off today and Monday for teachers workshops, so I have to deal with sitters. They did get their report cards yesterday and both did well. Evan finally gets letter grades and kept his grades about where they were in November. He hates school, so for him to bring home 1 A 3 B's and 3 C's is a good thing in this house.

Well I will close for now and pop in later to read if anyone posted.....

Hugs to you all,

03-21-2003, 11:28 AM
Hi all! Just checking in before I get out of here. Couldn't leave my buddies in a lurch.

2cute: Here's my recipe for the Pumpkin Mousse:

Pumpkin Mousse

2 boxes of sugar free vanilla pudding
2 cups Fat Free (skim) milk
1 3/4 cups of canned pumpkin
3/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 - 8 oz. container of fat free Cool Whip

Beat the pudding, milk, canned pumpkin and spice together. Fold in the Cool Whip. Chill for a couple of hours.

Makes 6 - 1 cup servings 1 point per serving
You can use this in a Reduced Fat Graham Cracker Crust and serve as a pie. You will have to add 2 points per 1/8 of the pie.

Baylee: To transfer Sandy's Dr. Seusse all you need to do is put a floppy disk in your drive (or save to wherever you want). Right click with your mouse and choose 'save picture as'. Choose your drive and save it just like you would anything else. Then you can create an e-mail and use the file as an attachment. P.S. You can do that with any gif you come across here or anywhere else. Hope this helps.

Gotta go. See you all after the weekend.

03-21-2003, 11:58 AM
Hmmm...what do I have planned in the way of FUN? Well, let's see...when I'm done here, I will do my strength training tape, tidy up the house a bit, go to the school library to do my volunteer work, go to the real library to check out "Body for Life," anyone read this? I almost bought it online and decided, this time, I'll check it out before plunking down $$ on yet another book...but I digress...after that, I'm going to get some yard work done...just some clean up stuff, pick up branches, maybe a little raking...it's already 55 degrees out! YAY SPRING!! I have some pretty purple crocuses in bloom...my daffodils and hyacinth are getting ready...what a long winter this has been. I called to have the tree guys come do some pruning on the huge trees in my back yard. Spring Fever...I love it! Anyway...that's fun to me...getting outside and getting dirty! Dh always says I'm not happy inless there's dirt under my nails!

Some quick replies...

Hi Baylee! Glad to see you pop in! Sounds like you've got the right idea...baby steps...taking it one day/week at a time. You are doing great!

Sandy, I hope you feel better soon! I hate to take sick days too...

Deon, don't be disappointed...a loss IS a loss! Be proud of yourself! You are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing!

2cute...I LOVE portabella mushrooms! Are they the big ones, or the "baby 'bellas?" The big ones can be grilled and eaten like a hamburger... spray with olive oil Pam, slap on the George Forman for a few minutes, add some sauteed onions, peppers, whatever you put on a burger and there you go! The baby bellas are good for stuffing or chopped up in an omelet...my mouth is watering! BTW...I love the image I have in my mind of you and your grand daughter! I sure do miss holding and cuddling a baby!

...which leads me to... Tina! I'm so glad that you got a chance to cuddle and love your little niece! Have a great time in Bristol! Give Tony our regards! Have a wonderful honeymoon!

Michelle! Way to go on the 1# off! Notice I did NOT say
only 1 lb! Hey! You lost 10 last week! You are doing great!

Lucky...aren't you done reading yet?

Thin...get back on that Airwalker! Don't even think about it too much...just do it! Oh, and by the way...OF COURSE that's why I love the city! Where else can I go and let' em out?? (scary image popping into my head right now!)

Donna...having a difference of opinion and being able to state it, without fear of retribution, is part of what living in our great country is all about! I do NOT support this war, but there's nothing I can do about it except pray for all those involved and that it's over quickly.
BTW...good luck on you job search!

Mary...my heart goes out to your brother. Way to go on "holding your weight," at least you're not gaining.

Hello and lots of love to anyone that I missed...I am running WAY behind now and have to end this post!

Have a FABULOUS, FUN FRIDAY and come out and tell us all about it!

Love to all...

Don't have time to post this morning but....

Thin... thank you for the recipe. Sounds better to me because the pumpkin taste is diluted more using double of other ingredients than my recipe.
Have a GREAT TIME on your weekend getaway.

Sandy. I LOVE that prayer. LOL
I see you ad cool whip too to your pumpkin dessert.
Is Pumpkin consider a veggie? someone said it is a fruit. ????

Baylee.... I chopped the cauliflower very small like rice... put it in a bowl and with a little water and steamed it in the microwave.
Next time I may just put the raw pieces in with the other chinese veggies and meat and just cook it all together.
I will let you know how the mexican rice/cauliflower turns out.
Have you tried cauliflower as a substitute for mashed potatoes, macaroni salad, mac & cheese ???

Deon... hope you had a good nights rest.
Just keep chugging along... it will pay off if you don't quit.

Tina... with you and Thin both gone this weekend the rest of us will have our work cut out for us posting here.

Okay.. gotta run.

Kat... you snuck in on me.
sounds like once you get into that yard work you will have a great fun day. I used to love to work in the yard... but my knees won't take it anymore.

Sandy.. I forgot to tell you I loved your tweety prayer.

Good morning to you all. Just a second to check in. Hope you are all op. I am kind of a mess trying to get back in the groove. Between the vacation, the you know what problem and then the food poisoning, my food is either horrible or non existant. I could not exercise and am just feeling better to do that so I am getting out as soon as I get off here and go to the mall. I am ACTUALLY looking forward to it, can you believe it? All this sickness sidelined me pretty good and one more thing! I weighed myself while I was gone and my scales are totally screwed so I have to get new scales and then start from their with actual lbs lost. That is ok as you can see the loss on me. In fact, we went to the casino Tues and I wore my fanny pack. I have not worn it since we went down the last time which was before Christmas. The thing was WAYYYYYYY too big. Jack measured it and I have lost about 5 inches off my waist area which was a jazz.

Sandy: I loved the DR Suess thing. Very funny and OHHHHHH how true! I just want to tell you again how proud I am of you. You have really taken the bull by the horns.

Kat: It is very true that this country allows us to think as we wish. You must understand that being a Naval wife of 20 years I have very very strong feelings about it. I thank you for at least having the wonderful attitude to pray for our guys as some do not. They are doing the job they were sent to do whether they want to be there or not. Thanks for sharing with me.

Tina: Ooohh you must be in heaven getting to love on that baby. I am kind of sad because my daughter has decided to have her tubes tied and there won't be anymore grandbabies for us unless ds gets married somewhere down the road. I support her decision totally and understand though. Besides, even if I didn't it is not any of my business what she and her dh decide to do. Poor Thomas will just have to put up with all the extra love from me I guess!

2cute: Hey girl how are you?

Man, I just realized how late it is. I have to go. Thin, Mary, Baylee, Sara, Deon etc etc love you guys and will try and post more later!

I wanted to share this...it's part of an article I read in beachbody.com:

Your ultimate goal is to improve yourself. So you're really stretching the meaning of the New Year's Resolution. Big deal, since the ultimate goal here isn't to win a bet anyway. It's not a contest. It's your life. If you haven't made the progress that you originally wanted, that's not failure. It's improvement - just at a more realistic pace that works for you. Tortoise, hare, or even amoeba; it's not how fast you move, it's that you continue moving in the right direction. There is no failure unless you give up completely.

:?: Okay.... Who farted ??? :?:
I cannot think of another reason that NO ONE has posted since this morning. LOL

Only the smell of a gross fart could scare everyone away.
Since it must stink so bad in here.... I am going to start a new thread so we can start fresh again. ;)
