:D :D :D Hello everyone. I have such a happy face because a hunky paramedic came and gave me "MOUTH TO MOUTH" !!! :D :D :dancer:
I told him that I was SURE that aliens had overtaken thinthinker and taken over possession of her body.
He reassured me that it did not happen. I kept telling him.... "you don't understand... TT does NOT do the "E" word."
He asked.... "Extra -Terrestrial" ???? LOL
I told him ..."NO !!! The "E" word.... exercise. " :sssh:
He told me he would call the proper authorities in Michigan and check it out. I am sooo worried that Thin is not the "real" Thin we have all come to know and love. :^:

While I wait for the report I will greet the rest of you.

Moongoddess... WELCOME to our humble abode. This is a great group of women and you will love it here. I think Baylee is a TOPS member. I belonged years ago and really liked it. I was in charge of contests and games. I have thought of joining it again but that is as far as I have gotten.... thinking about it.

Donna ... welcome back !!! It sounds like you had a great time even though it was very exhausting. I hate when I plan to swim in hotel pools and kids take it over. I know they love it... but I would really want to get a workout in.

Sandy... thanks for trying to help. ;) I sure hope those aliens return our lovely TT soon. BUT ... in the mean time.... I am going to sit back and enjoy the memories of that mouth to mouth. :o :D

Sara... CONGRATULATIONS That is so great you reached your 135 !!! I am glad to hear you are working on your website so hopefully we can all see some photos soon. I have finally reached the point where I am going to quit asking.

Kat... you are such a good cheerleader in our little group. Bless you.
I have always got my email notification... I don't know why you quit.?

Thin.... " If you can hear me..... I am PROUD of you."
Those aliens will leave your body soon... once they are done doing their experiments on you. Hopefully they will have reprogramed your mind to actually 'want' to do exercising. :crossed:
WE love you and will continue to love you no matter what color, shape, or life form you return to us in. BE BRAVE !

Steph... I hope your MIL is doing okay. Prayers are being sent her way.

Mary... my husband would trade me in for you and your home cooking anyday. As a child I would not touch cabbage.. but today I really like.

Deon... yep... ONE DAY AT A TIME is the way to go.
JUST FOR TODAY ..... Progress not perfection .... Practice makes Progress ... they are all good mottos/slogans for the day.

Okay... to everyone .... :chef: ...the Cauliflower Salad recipe is the same as any potato salad or macaroni salad recipe... just substitute boiled cauliflower for the the potoatos and/or macaroni.
When I used it to make "mashed cauliflower" instead of mashed potatoes I make sure I drain ALL water off. Add a little butter, or sour creme, or creme cheese, or garlic, whatever ... and mash them.
If you whip them they get sort of watery. Just an old fashion potato masher is best.
You can also grate cauliflower into tiny pieces like rice and substitute it for rice too. I have not tried it yet... but I am this week while my daughter is home. I will let you know how it turns out. The chef has spoken. :chef:

Good morning all

Hey, is Tina off on some Tony Stewart quest again? I haven't seen her post.

2cute: Woowoo, only you could get a hunky paramedic.
For real, when I fell and dislocated my knee about 5 years ago, the :censored: emts that came to my house made me find a way to get on the gurney myself because of my size and never lifted a hand to even help a little. Keep his number handy, as I may need some help!

Trying to get back up in the routine saddle. I think things will have settled down today and I can get over to the mall. I am definitely going to take it easy to ease back in to walking again. DH bought me my New Balance though and I am in hog heaven. Wait, let me rephrase that, I am in supermodel heaven. I have never had any kind of running shoe and couldn't believe how light they were. On top of that, I have had expensive shoes, but they have ALWAYS hurt my instep because I am flat footed. I would always get blisters on my instep. These haven't. Jack says we are going to go and buy another pair so I can keep one pair ahead. I told him I thought they wouldn't last long because with my flat feet I wear them unevenly.

I forgot to tell you what happened at breakfast yeterday. We went to Bob Evans (I was good, fruit bowl and dry wheat toast) and when we paid the bill and were leaving, here come TWO police cars screeching to a halt in front of the restaurant and out they all four pop with guns drawn! Scared the pants off us. The one cop said, "Is everything ok in there?" I said as far as I knew. There were only about 5 customers in the whole restaurant. I had taken Senacot the evening before for bm problems associated with the other problem, and smart aleck DH said, "Honey did you poop your pants with that one?" It did shake us up some!

Well, I am STILL trying to get laundry finished. Maybe because we went down to the Casinos yesterday afternoon for a few hours. I did win $150!

Well, I am going to get my day started.

Talk to everyone later.

Good morning all
Where is everyone? There has been 1 post since I checked last night.

I am so tired. I don't know if I will ever catch up on my sleep.

I didn't cook my cabage last night, I was rushed so I did canned baked beans instead.

I work till 7 tonight then have to stay for the book club to meet. So I'll grab something on the way home. Oh the life of a Librarian.

Lets all pray for our troops that are abut to go to war. I wish this could be averted but I'm afraid it's not.:(

It was 63 when we got up this morning. :)

Hope all of you have a great day.

Welcome to our new member yyou'll love it here

03-18-2003, 08:51 AM
Donna: I love Bob Evans but the closest one to me is at Southhaven.

03-18-2003, 09:37 AM

My food has been good! I just hope the scales are good to me again on thursday!!

He walks in and says geeee....I never thought I'd be back in this store again! I love shopping in that store! I wanted to get her the swing she wanted but they were out of stock....so we got the pack 'n play...we used our's so much when Andrew was born...its good for traveling too!

Ok I better get going...its getting late! TTFN Michelle

03-18-2003, 10:29 AM
Before I let go here and spill my guts on all of you I just want to welcome Moongoddess, this is a great, wonderful, marvolous, group of women. Donna, you didn't finish the story (Why were the police there in the first place:dizzy: )?

Ok, here's my sob story for today, you all know I don't sob much.:D Well I woke up this a.m. not feeling the best, I think I caught my daughters cold. Anyway dh was little frisky and I said NO!!! This does not go over well. Well I come out to the kitchen to get the coffee going and get the kids motivated to get ready for school. They are fighting over the tv, so I settle that and put it on the news. I get them off to school and in the mean time I have been to the bathroom 4 times!!! I got the dishes started, and tied up the garbage to be taken down to the cellar, I put the bag practically in front of the cellar door, and dh just walks over it and I say "Do you think you could take that downstairs?" well he flies off the handle saying I snapped (NO I DID NOT). Goes down the stairs grumbling all the way about how I think I do everything in this house and noone does anything. Well he slams the door as he leaves for work. Now let me tell you all what I do here. I am responsible to get the kids up and ready for school, breakfast, lunch made, get them out the door on time and stop any fights that may have been started. I wake dh up, (NO THIS DOES NOT STAND FOR dear Hubby today, you can fill in the blank) he has only to have his coffee and get dressed and go to work. I still have to shower, get myself ready for work and go. Then I get home, get the kids off the bus and let the fights begin again. In the meantime, I am to do the laundry, dishes, clean the house, pick up after everyone here because they are all to lazy to take a glass to the kitchen or lord forbid a wrapper of somesorts from whatever they ate. Dh is included in that, I will get up in the a.m and there will be like 3 cups, dishes, wrappers, ashtray(yuck) and just tons of stuff by his seat along with his socks on the floor and clothes on the floor where ever it is he took them off they seem to stay!!! No one in this house has dishpan hands but me, no one cooks meal just me, no one does laundry, just me, no one cleans, no one goes to the grocery store, no one pays the bills, no one keeps this house going except for me, and this I am being bruttally honest about!!! Why is it that the moms get the crap end of the deal all the time? Hubby can just get up and go whenever he likes, seems like I have to ask him to watch his own kids so I can even go to the damned store by myself. And lord forbid I go out for a night lately. It's been like a month since I've gotten to Bingo or to a friends house to visit. Maybe I'm having a break down? RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....I will stop now even though I could go on and on, sorry I bored you with this, but I kinda feel better talking to someone about it. Does anyone else have this problem with their other half? And I think I have discovered why I tell him NO to sex a lot of times. I think it is a control thing!!! I can control if he gets it or not. That might have been to much info? But on well. I wrote him a big long letter filled with tears about all of this and hope he will understand what I do here and appreciate it a little more.

03-18-2003, 12:18 PM
OH Peekaboo! I feel for ya.
Have you ever watched the show "The Other Half"? I don't know if they have it in your area or not. Well yesterday they had some women on there that seemed to have your very same problem but these women took control of that problem and they went on strike. It was great to see these women take charge and to see their "DH's" grovel. I was absolutely appalled though when one husband said "he would have to start telling her he loved her more and pay more attention to her and bring her flowers more." AS IF THAT WAS THE PROBLEM! I couldn't believe it. Even after she had gone on strike for 2 weeks he still didn't get it. He thought she just needed more attention. Ugh!! I am lucky enough I don't have that problem with my DH but I do with kids, but I think that is to be expected because they are kids, but it is still very frustrating when they just drop their s**t where they stand and then whine when you ask them to pick it up that they have to do everything. I do my share of bi*****g! I think maybe you hit a touchy subject. Well anyway, I thought you might enjoy that little story. Hang in there.

03-18-2003, 01:07 PM
Okay, Sandy was your husband cloned, cause I think DF is his clone, right down to the wrappers and socks, and ashtray ( well he's not allowed to smoke in the house but I do find butts in coke cans every now and then) to get my df to do anything is a huge task, I either have to bribe him or ***** and complain and bang things around. Simply asking gets me a remark like, what's wrong with you, is it bothering you, I already did dishes this week, like once out of the week is a great help.

Just wanted to let you know, I know how you feel. They should have obedience classes for hubbies.

03-18-2003, 01:40 PM
Since today is tip day I got this from my daily e-mail from www.realage.com

Tuesday, March 18
Insure That Smile

Here's another reason to get your fair share of calcium and vitamin D: it can help keep your smile young.
In a study of older adults, those who took a daily calcium and vitamin D supplement were less likely to lose teeth compared to older adults who did not take a supplement. Getting an adequate amount of calcium and vitamin D in the diet can help keep teeth healthy by preventing osteoporosis, a disease that may weaken oral bone structures.

RealAge Benefit: Getting 400 IU of vitamin D and 1,200 milligrams of calcium per day can make your RealAge as much as 1.3 years younger.

****I'll be sure to take my vitamins and calcium from now on. I don't want to gross out my grandchildren because I have to slobber on my food to get it down.

I woke up this morning and weighed my self and I was down 1.5 pounds. That motivates me to try harder at eating less.

03-18-2003, 02:38 PM
Hey ladies! First of all let me welcome Moongoddess to our little group. And welcome back Donna. Glad you had a nice visit with your grandson. We had a scare with my MIL yesterday. She was having a catheterization done and her heart stopped. They had to use a defibrillator to start it again. She has to have open heart surgery again( she had one in 2001) So keep her in your prayers please. Other than that, things are going good. I've been drinking my water and have walked my son to and from school both yesterday and today. I figure that's about 1.5-2 miles round trip so that works out to 3-4 miles per day. I was reading Woman's World magazine and they have an article about walking to lose weight. Basically it says that walking at a nice brisk pace is more beneficial to fat burning than power walking. Sounds good to me. I guess I'll find out since I plan on keeping up my walking regimen. Thin- congrats on those 4 lbs. That's awesome. Sandy- my husband can be the same way sometimes. I'm home all day with the kids and manage to have the house clean, dinner made, and the kids entertained. I go to work at night for 4-5 hours and come home and the house is a mess. I don't understand it. I feel like going on strike sometimes too. 2 Cute- thanks for asking about my MIL. Well gotta go for now.

03-18-2003, 02:58 PM
Your MIL is in my prayers.

Keep up your good work.

03-18-2003, 03:10 PM
Hey all...

Sorry you're having such a bad day, Sandy.

I do like the idea of a strike!

Maybe it's time for a heart to heart...not a fight. Same with the kids. There is no reason why kids cannot pick up after themselves, and help around the house, and if they don't, then, in this house, they lose some privelege...TV, going out, whatever. As far as the dh goes, I've come to adjust my way of thinking along those lines. Yes, I do more around the house than he does, but he works longer and harder hours than I do...he does a lot of stuff that I don't do, car maintenance, repair work, cleaning the gutters, unclogging toilets...

...but if he's pissed, cuz he didn't get a little nookie this morning, well, TOO BAD FOR HIM! Get over it, buddy!

Hi to everyone else...gotta run...see you all later!

03-18-2003, 03:29 PM

Steph: Nice to meet you! Sorry I was gone when you started posting. We had the laptop, but I was so busy I could never sit down with it. I promise to pray diligently for MIL.

Sandy: We have no idea why the cops showed up at the restaurant. They just showed up as we were leaving with their guns drawn like NYPD Blue or something! Also, I am truly sorry that the dh (not dear today) is acting like a total dope. Men have a little known gene called the dumb *** gene. When it kicks in they act like a dumb *** and expect miracles from the spouse. The only way to treat this genetic mistake is to kick them in the pants and give them what for!  I have to say that my hubby has a milder form of this genetic malfunction. His helping gene is in good shape, but his "I am God" gene is still in overdrive!!! I was so mad at him and my daughter this trip I could have killed them. They are both the type of person that if you are not of the same opinion as they, then you are WRONG! No ifs ands or buts. They got into two fights about STUPID stuff on this trip and I kept trying to difuse the situation, but they totally ignore me. Kelly won't shut up and if I can get dh to be quiet it is because he is now royally peeved at me because he assumes I agree with her which is the unpardonable sin from his wife!

Mary: How far is Southaven from you again? They built a new Bob Evans out around the Winchester and Hacks Cross area of Memphis and that is where we go.

Michelle: Did you or do you by any chance use a sling with Andrew? Kelly has three and swears by them. She still uses hers to carry T when he doesn't want to walk. The new one she has she can sling him around to her back and carry him. The reason I asked is that you were talking about shower gifts and that is what she always buys for her friends.

Deon: My poor kids had the mother from ****. You can ask the others, this lady is the queen of clean and I ran my house like boot camp. I could not stand having shoes, coats and backpacks all over. When my daughter came home from college and was living back at home for awhile, I would beg her to clean her nasty room. I finally ask her dad to intervene and boy did he. When she went stomping out of the apartment because we had a screaming match about her room, her dad promptly took the door off and when she came back she blew up and said we had no right to take away her privacy. She was a grown up (18) and could keep her room any way she wanted. Her dad said, "Ok, but you start paying the rent, otherwise, the door stays down until your room is cleaned up to your mother's NOT your specifications. She moved out about 2 weeks later and found out it wasn't all peachy keen being an adult! Unfortunately, she is better but not really a great housekeeper.

Moon: Thanks for the tip!

Well, gotta go! I need to go and get my nails done and go to the mall and walk. I broke one on the trip fooling with the dvd player (which by the way was worth its weight in gold in and out of the car) and I am having a trauma from my nails not being perfect!

03-18-2003, 04:39 PM
Southaven is about 3 hours away. we are in the middle of the state.

03-18-2003, 04:56 PM
I am not having a good day! I think the ol PMS is setting in and I'm just feeling tired, groggy and just plain pissy! :( These days though it is getting difficult to tell whether it's pms or menapause. I'm not sure if I'm having early signs. My mom thinks so, because she went through it early and so did my grandma. Whatever it is I don't like it. I am still eating ok, except today I skipped breakfast altogether. That's a huge no-no with WW. But oh well. And then my DH joined this credit thing online and it took $40.00 out of our bank account and now we are going to be overdrawn because I did not plan for that, and it wasn't supposed to happen. So, I am in a mood over that. He freaks over OD's at the bank so I know he is going to be in a mood. And then it P's me off since I told him that would probably happen. Oh well. we will get through it. I guess I just need to sleep or something. Actually probably need a walk. Maybe!:D

Well gonna go, everyone have a better day than I am. :flow2:

03-18-2003, 07:12 PM
Good afternoon everyone.

I just had an ad come across my screen while typing this. Does that happen to any of you?? Gee... It would not let me type and then here came the ad. Grrrr I hope this is not going to become a regular occurence.

I almost did not post because there is no way I can respond to all of you and I did not want anyone to think I thought one persons problems were more important than another. Then I just decided to not to reply to anyone. LOL

As far as how our families treat us. I think Dr Phil has it right there. They treat us the way we allow them to. BUT ... before you go and give them the riot act on how you want to be treated... REMEMBER THIS,,,, YOU need to treat THEM the way you want to be treated too. OUCH. So... I feel it is okay to tell your families that from now on you wish to be treated with more respect and treated as an equal rather than a servant... but do it in a CALM and RATIONAL and respectful manner. That is just my 2 cents. And I do know that not everyone will agree with me and that is okay too. I am not debating... just sharing my opinion.

Now for PMS and menopause. Let's face it... they both SUCK.
But lets also face.... WE are usually unpleasant to live with during those times and our families are stuck with us. That is when I try to remember the old saying from my childhood.... "If you can't say something nice... don't say nothin at all"
BUT I do want everyone to know.... I symphatize with you. It is a terrible place to be... and here is a hug for all sufferers. {{{ HUGS }}}
Now for me. I have been soooooooo PRODUCTIVE today. :D :cp:
That is why it took me sooo long to get in here. I am not even dressed yet. I woke up and started working in one of my spare bedrooms and I have not stopped to rest alllll day... until now.
I got soooo much accomplished. But unfortunately.. I have a long way to go too. I have used this room as a collect all. :^: It was a MESS !!! Well now it is 85% clean. What is left is the small tedious stuff.... lots of the dreaded PAPERWORK. I HATE PAPERWORK. That is one reason it gets so out of control. I procrastinate sooo bad at it.

My food is still GREAT !!! I don't feel any skinnier but that is okay.
I know I am eating better than ever and other than adding exercise I cannot improve my food. I am even trying new veggie recipes ... and new veggies. I bought artichokes, acorn or spagetti squash, mushrooms, turnips, fresh and frozen spinach, and few weird things I can't remember now. I really wanted to tell you too. I was so proud of me for trying "new stuff". :smug: I am trying that cauliflower as rice tonight with my chinese chicken I am making. Heck... I don't even recognize myself.

Okay... got to run. Even though I have worked hard all day... my husband still expects his dinner soon. You are right... a womans work is never done.

03-19-2003, 12:27 AM
:yikes: Someone please help! The PMS monster is taking over my body! I need to eat!:ink: I want to eat everything in site. :cbg: :cookie: :jeno: :m: :m: :m: :cheese: :chockiss::burger: I have some leftover M&M's from valentines day that my DH bought me and I want to eat all of them. I hate this. I am right at my points for the day too. I will make it I think, if I can just make it til bed time. Then I can start out new tomorrow.

This is the true test of how badly I want to lose is if I can survive through PMS without eating the fridge.

Thurs is WI I can't spoil it now.:crossed:

Hey does anyone use chat on this site? Or am I using it wrong? I go there and there is never anyone on.??

03-19-2003, 12:44 AM
I know I am probably too late Deon... but... HANG ON !!!!!!

Drink a gallon of water. Put on a favorite movie or better yet... go take a walk. Do whatever you have to do to NOT EAT !!!!!!
This too shall pass.

PS.. I did not mean too late because you already ate.
I meant too late because you have already gone to bed.
Hopefully.... cheat free!!!!

03-19-2003, 02:35 AM
:dizzy: so far so good. I am ok for now. Heading to bed soon, but can't seem to get away from puter. But thanks for the encouragement. It means alot to me. I think I can, I think I can.

03-19-2003, 07:21 AM
Deon, there is hardly ever anyone in the chat room here on this site, I've gone several times and been the only one there. But, I do go chat on dottys a lot. I will PM you the correct address to go to. It's a great site and the people are great too. Good job staying away from the temptations of pms.

2cute, the ad thing just happened to me too!!!   I think it was an Atkins ad? I hate when I am typing away and then all the sudden I realize everything I have typed is not there. It used to happen to me a lot when I first started coming here, but then it hasn't for so long I completely forgot about it, until rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you mentioned it and it happend to me today. Did you jinx me:dizzy: ?

Yesterdays actions here at home~~~. DH came home like nothing happened. One of my very good friends was here and yes I talked to her about it, and she could not believe he came in so cheery. Then he asked what was for supper I said well I made chili with turkey but know you wont eat that (he hates spicy stuff) so I took out reg. hamburger how do you want it? He asked for manwiches~~~not a problem this is too easy!! Well I proceed to make the manwiches and dh (not dear) falls asleep on the darned couch. So yet another meal cooked for him that will go uneatten or eatten cold. So I waited a while, I put everything away at 8:00p.m and I went to bed. Don't know what time he came to bed but I did notice he had eatten. Don't know if he read the letter I had written yesterday or not but his plate was actually in the kitchen instead of the livingroom, and no cups by his end of the couch. BUT his socks are on the floor!! .

I started to go overboard and emotionally eat yesterday. I made woopie pies (if you don't know what they are~~~they are like little chocolate cakes with cream filling in the middle) I had to make them because I had given out IOU's for christmas for them and now people were starting to call in their IOU's. Anyway, I ate 1 & 1/2 of them before I said who am I hurting:?: ? No one but myself and all the hardwork I have done. So I stopped and did not eat anymore. And I counted it my points for the day. So I still came in on top and did not go over the points. And you all know the first thing I did this a.m was hop on the scales!! And I am at 273.5 but tomorrow is the official day and will post it then.

Thank you all for your good advice yesterday. I think this is getting to me so bad because dh and I never fight. Sometimes I get so mad people always compare our relationship with their own. They say I wish we had half the relationship you all have. Or you too are so great together. It is true most of our friends are divorced or just not settled and married yet, but I hate being put on display. I'm glad they are happy for us, but please don't add the stress of having to live up to the expectations. We are normal and have issues like everyone else. Oh well, this too shall pass, just thanks for letting me vent and bend your ears here on the thread.

Donna, I forgot to ask if you had seen my new avatar? Isn't it fitting for me ;) . Had to get rid of the other one the little woman inside the big one was freaking 2cute out I think? Maybe I should have kept it and she could have called that cute 911 guy again because of the panic attack she was having:lol: (just kidding 2 cute)

Well girlies, I'm gonna hit the post button before I loose this very long post I have been working on for 20 minutes now.

Hugs and Kisses to all,

03-19-2003, 11:02 AM
good morning friends.

Yesterday I was sooo productive that I am taking today off and going to the movies and out for lunch with my daughter. :D

Sandy... I can come up with some "need" for that hunky paramedic.
But I do appreciate your new avatar. LOL
Just remember that even for husbands we need to remember ... "Progress not perfection". They are not going to change overnight. You are NOT going to want to hear this ... BUT... now you need to "Praise him" for his efforts. You planted the seed of needing more help. Now you must remember you will catch more flys with honey than vinegar. Hang in there.

Steph ... I like your new avatar too. He is a cutie .... ooppss.. I guess it is a SHE. I will keep your MIL in my prayers... how is she doing today? Walking your kids to and from school is a great way to get your walking in... plus it makes your kids feel special having mom walk with them.

Thin.... I was just teasing about the aliens... but now I am beginning to think they took you back to their planet. :^: Did they brain wash you to not post again.??

Deon... how are you doing this morning?? Have you killed anyone yet. When I have PMS I flucuate between suicide and homicide. LOL Hope you are doing better today.

Donna... I highly recommend calling the trama unit about your nails if you get the hunk I got. LOL I have only had my nails done once in my entire life... and it was at a beauty college. I guess one word to describe me is.... CHEAP. LOL

Okay... there are a LOT of people AWOL. I can't send the troops out to get you since they are all overseas... but ... I am more than willing to come hunt you down and whip your butts all the way back in here. :drill:

Have a good day. I am out of here. Headed for the showers

:cb: Well I made it! I didn't over do it last night. Yea! And I feel so good for it that it has given me new strength to make it through today. I only have today and then tomorrow before WI. I will make it.

Sandy: Thanks for the info. I will go and try it out. And I know what you mean about the eating out of anger. I don't usually emotionally eat except when I am mad at DH, or the kids. My son almost blew it for me yesterday. He keeps wanting to eat all the "diet" food in the house and he is a little stick, like I used to be at his age, but he can eat the regularly stuff, and I said well I will just quit doing WW so you can have the "diet" food. Than I realized what I had done and apologized to him and then to myself. Nothing can make quit. ;) We need to stick together through these hard times, it's when I need you all the most. And you are coming through for me. :D

I just did the same thing!!!!!

No time to start again...

In a nutshell:

Official WI (not Wisconsin) 252...down 2.8 lbs...yay me...total 14 off. Plus I exercised today. Gotta get back to daily sweat.

Try Boca Burger "Chicken" patties...:T

please don't add the stress of having to live up to the expectations. YOU DON"T HAVE TO LIVE UP TO ANYONE'S EXPECTATIONS BUT YOUR OWN! Nurture it and it will flourish.

Deon...good for you! See? It can be done!

2cute...You give SUCH good advice! I just love reading your posts. PS,,,don't forget the movie review.

Thin...how's that airwalker?

Donna, welcome back...

Moongoddess...welcome to our group!

Steph...how's MIL? Keep walking to stay healthy!

Duckie...come on, one paragraph is not like you! What's new?

Michelle...more stories, please!

Mary...What's Bob Evans? Like Denny's?

And a special hello to Jen...bless you and your family...I know this has got to be an excruciatingly hard time for you. Come here and vent anytime you need to! I know I speak for all of us when I say, You are in our prayers.

Come out, come out: Lucky, Tina, Sara, Baylee...J-ann (if you're lurking!) Hope I didn't miss anyone!

Uh oh...I'm late...see ya!

Well, it looks like MIL will have the heart surgery on Monday. She seems to be doing ok under the circumstances. According to the doctors, this is just in her genetic make-up. She is in no means overweight, and eats very healthy foods. It's a tad colder here today than it has been the past couple of days, but it is still sunny. Like Kat, I have decided to remove my weight from my signature until I get back down to 250. Then I will go from there. No time for repiles, have to get dinner together.

Okay...I'm back!

I took my son to CCD, then I was going to take daughter shopping for the elusive prom dress...(I found a great store yesterday)...but she's taking a little snooze at the moment...she's just SOOOOOOOOO tired.  Just as well, I've been very productive around here. If you follow FlyLady at all, you'll know that Wednesday is "Anti Procrastination Day." Pick one thing that you've been putting off and putting off and JUST DO IT! So...here is what I did:
1. I excercised! :strong:
2. I took all the mystery containers out of the freezer. The ones that have leftover dinners, frozen for "another day..." That day has come.
Whatever they don't eat gets tossed!
3. I finished shredding the pile of papers that has been sitting on my desk. (Part of an on-going "Clean out the file cabinet mission.") The current pile has been there for weeks. Not any more. :D
4. I cleaned the junk and papers and odds and ends off my dresser.
**Bonus**I came across all the Christmas cards and pictures of you gals!

And that's it! Not much really...but the relief of having finished a few of the things that have been bugging me, is enormous!

I wholeheartedly recommend this exercise...go do ONE thing that you have been putting off...even just a little thing. It feels good! A good time to do it would be when the munchies strike. And be sure to come back here and tell what you did. That's an order! :drill:

ok...break time over...see you all later.

Kat no stories today as it was my day off....But I did do something like you did....I sorted through all the papers and stuff in the china cabinet that get stuffed there as a keeper for the time being....I was able to throw out alot of useless stuff!

Andrew and I spent a wonderful day together...we went to the supermarket to pick up a few things, then stopped by and visited his old sitter for about an hour...he loved playing with the boys there...then we went to walmart to pick up his pictures and of course did some shopping...$62 later we walked out with two tank tops for him, two pairs of shorts and two short sleeved shirts to match the shorts, a plastic wheel barrow for him...and two wiggles videos for HIM and 10 pria bars for ME!! Oh and a ball cap for him...he likes to wear them backwards...typical boy! Then we stopped at McDonalds and he got a chicken nugget kids meal and I only snatched two fries from him....when we got home I cooked one of my WW frozen meals....we had lunch then we played and read some books then he went out back to play and while I was bent down picking up his crayons he was screaming at the door...I brought him in and checked his head incase he fell on the patio or something and I noticed a spot of blood and it was coming from his finger.....he ripped off the top 1/2 of his fingernail and a scratch on his pinky...I don't know what the heck he did but I took him to the bathroom and put peroxide on it and bacitracin and a bandaid which he immediately took off...and since he was still crying I carried him to the couch and held him till he fell asleep. He needed a nap....he is still sleeping...I just hope it is through the night now...I am ready for bed!

Ok... a little while ago I typed in this recipe and like the rest...hit that phantom button and it disappeared...so here goes a second try!

WW S'mores

8 (2 1/2 inch square) honey graham crackers
1/4 c. semisweet chocolate chips
8 full size marshmallows

Preheat the grill for indirect heating
Cut 4- 6 inch pieces of foil and spray with Pam, top each foil with 1 graham cracker and 1 T. of the chocolate chips, then 2 marshmallows. Place another graham cracker on top and fold foil tightly to seal. Grill long enough to melt the marshmallows and chocolate, about 7-8 minutes.

1 s'more = 3 points
