Default 10 People (This is so vain!)

Been kind of down lately because the scale has stayed stagnant for the last 2 months. But as I got another compliment/comment on my weight loss, I counted and 10 people have mentioned it to me since I stopped losing weight (according to my scale)! I guess their opinions (and my looser clothing) should hold more weight than my scale does.

A major goal to me was just to have my weight loss be noticeable to someone other than myself. Thanks to the 10 who have encouraged me thus far.

Happy losing everyone!

That's totally not vain. My boyfriend commented on my weight loss today, and I've had a couple friends do it, too. Nothing feels better than having someone notice your hard work.

Congratulations :3 I think that's really exciting.

Having a healthier body takes hard work so you deserve every single compliment.

I wish my bf complimented me I think he's jealous >:P

I am right at 20 pounds and I am thrilled that people are noticing. For the last 2 weeks I have only lost about 4 pounds total, but I have just started working out over the last two weeks. So I am taking every compliment with a and a thank you.

Smile Hello!

I started the whole 5% (of total weight to lose) back in July of 2011 and I haven't lost that much weight. I am doing good though and I don't put a lot of pressure on myself. Keep on trudging through. Your hard work and perserverence will pay off.

I worry about getting compliments because, in the past, I would go off track if I got a lot of them. I think I felt like I was "good enough" if I got compliments so I could have the pie

I found out that even though I have pretty decent total cholesterol for my size; I have double the LDL-P that I am supposed to have. So now, I have to get busy and work harder. I get retested in june. It is about health for me now. I think that has made the biggest impact.

Not vain at all, take it all, suck it up! I went through 3 months of the scale not moving but inches were, so just hang in there, keep at it, the scale isn't the only indicator of weight loss!!

That's not vain at all. It's nice to hear when you think that something isn't working, that it actually is. Take those compliments and let them motivat you to push ahead!

Take it from anywhere and everywhere you can! I've had period of time where the scale barely moved but my bodyfat was dropping... bizarre but true. Congrats and keep up the great work!

I went through the same thing last week. I stayed the same but I am getting lots of comments because people are seeing my body changing. It's hard to grasp because I feel the scale should reflect the physical changes but I have faith it will catch up. You're doing great, keep up the amazing work!!
