I think it's important to start with a menu. Write down everything you will eat for the day and stick to it. Don't worry about tomorrow. Just do it for one day. That's it. Once you do that, you start all over again the next day. It sounds simple...one day at a time...but it really works. Also, if you do slip (and most of us do), pick yourself up just as soon as you can and get back on that track. Finally, I think exercise is important...even if it's just walking....getting your blood circulating helps with so many aspects of weight loss.
