Phase 1 dinner party ideas?
Hi,
On Wednesday I'm having a dinner party for 4 - want to make it all phase 1 but not look like it's diet food.
What do you recommend? My basic ideas: roast veggies (big chunks zucchini/mushrooms/onions/red potatoes (I won't eat the red potatoes), roast chicken sprayed with some olive oil and sprinkled w/ seasonings, have a salad.
Shrimp cocktail appetizer.
Seems a little boring, please help!
Thanks,
Chloe

I had people over for fondue (chicken, beef, mushrooms) and it worked out well, nice big salad, cut up veggies (brocolli, peppers, mushrooms, celery, onions) mixed with grapeseed oil, lemon juice, basil, dill & oregano, baked potatoes and garlic bread for the guests - could whip up some IP mashed for yourself
I found with fondue nobody noticed what you are eating and its quite social
Just a thought

Thin,
That sounds fun. What did you dip the chicken/beef/mushrooms into? The oil, lemon juice mixture?
Thanks,
Chloe

Filet Mignon, garlic cauliflower mashed like potatoes with seasonings, steamed spinach with lemon juice, big salad, water, and wine. My cousin likes eating at my house more now that I've been preparing IP foods. I've also made baked cod, zucchini, mashed cauliflower, and salad. There's an IP recipe book too.
