If you're not hungry, don't eat. But be sure the calories you are getting are nutritious and not junk, yes? Don't eat if you aren't feeling genuine hunger, but do be careful not to over-restrict and then set yourself up for a binge, either.
Slow, steady, and moderate wins the race. Calorie cycling is excellent, provided your lows aren't top low and your highs aren't too high, so if having some lower (1100 or whatever you like) calories days with higher (1700-1800) calorie days interspersed works better for you, go for it. Just don't get too hungry, that can be a recipe for out of control face stuffing. (I speak from experience!
