The combination of travel and high sodium foods is probably causing you to retain water. Give it a few days and I'm sure you'll be back down though it's frustrating to see on the scale.

I agree, must be salt and travel. I was up from Sat morning to Sunday morning 3 lbs. but know i ate salty stuff and some alcohol. Give it a few days, you will likely be down again

Thanks! I know its not "real" weight gain because I would have had to have eaten at least 14000 excess calories this week. I tried to be good for breakfasts and lunches (breakfasts were greek yogurt and banana, lunches were a half sandwich and some salad). But dinners weren't so great, and there may have been a margarita or 2...

I'm going to be awesomely OP and exercise this week and see where I am in a few days.

Let me put it this way, my scale said I was up 5.6 last week with no traveling and tracking everything and now I'm back down to normal in 4 days. I think you'll be back to normal in a few.

My scale said the same thing....from traveling as well. I'm trying so hard to put it behind me and move on and not worry about it. However, that is definitely easier said than done Frustrating to see your hard work that took forever to reach go away so easily!

But, today is a new day and I've been pretty good all day long. Good food choices and I jogged 3.5 miles (with a couple walking breaks thrown in for good measure) at the gym after work. Guzzling the water and hoping that things whittle their way down throughout the week.
