Default Which calorie level to follow... a little confused..

OK.... I just went to a new site to get my calorie level and WOW!!!

I have been using myfitnesspal.. and after I put in all of my information it recommended for me a 1200 calorie a day to lose (1-2 pounds a week) and I am working out 5 times a week..

On a calorie calculator site, I put in all of the same information and it says I should be taking in 1,656 calories per day.... that is a big difference....

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks

My Fitness Pal has been wonderful for me. I've lost 32 lbs since Jan 1.

If you are working out 5 days a week, on those days you definitely need to eat more then 1200 calories. Depending on your stats, 1200 should be the lowest you eat, so you'll have to eat back your exercise calories so that you net total is 1200. Not 1200, and then exercise as you net would be like 800 which is not good to do on a consistent basis.
