The last couple of mornings I've taken my resting heart rate. Each day I've taken it three times, and for a full minute to get the best possible number. My RHR is 60, which for my age (32) puts me right on the cusp between excellent and ATHLETIC (athletic starts at 59)! Athletic, ha, I never would describe myself as that.

Before I started exercising my resting heart rate was around 80. I checked mine the other night and it was 55. While the scale may not be moving very much for me recently, when I saw that, I realized that I am making huge strides in what ally matters, my fitness.

So kudos to you too!!

I take my RHR once a week.. when I was at my highest it was usually around 68/70.. and now, its on the low side.. I've had readings at 50 and 48, lol. Randomly itll be in the 60's, generally when I'm angry at my MIL, but its usually always between 53-55.

Which, is great, I guess. My doc isn't worried about it, as I have abnormally low BP as well.. it runs in the family.
