I'm in the first week of Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet. The mini goal I've reached is not cheating AT ALL yet - which is soooooooo unlike me. I'm actually kind of liking it because every diet I've been on previously has restricted how much you can eat, as well as what kinds of foods you can it. For the most part SBD only restricts what you can eat, not how much. That being said, I also gave up my daily habit of weighing myself, but I have been to the Dr. the past two days in a row, and the second day my weight was higher than the first. Granted, it was two totally different scales, but still, I'm concerned. As well as the fact that the number on the scale both times wasn't much lower than the number I saw on the last day I weighed myself, which is the day I started SBD. Thoughts? ...thanks in advance! :?:
