Hello, my name is Yvette. I'm married and the the mother of six. Although, I've been active for many years with running, walking, and strength training (with my local Body Pump at the gym.) I've recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and therefore have put weight on in my midsection/belly/waist area. I recently came across Jorge Cruise's info on the belly fat cure and hope that by cutting out/eliminating sugar from my diet that the belly fat will go away, lose inches and weight as well. I expect to stay on thyroid medicine for life but am optimistic (sp?) that I can be slimmer. Looking forward to "meeting" you all and recieving support from you as well.
Yvette, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the Dieting with Obstacles sub forum
