Default Another Great Day

So this is day 4 of my recommittment. I have not had any wine since Saturday and have been on plan all week. I am in mild ketosis and I have tons of energy and little if any hunger. I am eating eggs and bacon for breakfast A shake and tomato, cucumber, cheese salad with greek vinegarette and then dinner is either a taco salad or fish.....hope everyone is having a great dayl

Good job! How often do you weigh? Are you taking measurements?

I've been on induction since Saturday and I'm down 5lbs. I'm sure it's mostly water weight though.

I am a daily weigher..I tried once a week but find weighing everyday keeps me accountable. I started on Monday 100% and I am down 4lbs...I have tried over and over again to lose weight but this time around feels different. Now if I can make it through the weekend with no wine I will be so happy..

Same here, I have to weigh daily to keep myself accountable. If I eat wrong or am less active, it shows on the scale and that keeps me on top of sticking to my goals.

I'm thinking of having some alcohol tonight myself, but it would be a hard liquor that has no carbs and some diet coke to mix. Thursday is like the start of my weekend because my husband takes over the night time baby feedings cus he gets Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Haha, I would totally prefer some wine! This site : http://www.drinksmixer.com/desc366.html has nutrional info for wine. That way if you do have some you can at leat count the carbs, haha.

I'm going to have some rye and diet tonight and see how the scale looks the next couple of days, if it's not looking good then it's a treat I need to avoid. If it looks good then whoo hoo, haha. I was able to drink on induction last time and still lose, here's hopin' my body works the same!

I lost, but not as much as I have been most days. I'll keep tabs on my weight for the rest of the weekend and see if it stalls at all

I think alcohol makes you retain water a bit as well.
