Hi, I'm Tracey, 32 from NY, Mom of 20 month old b/g twins.
I am starting the Atkins Diet tomorrow, (wish me luck). I have been successul with this diet prior to having the kids but now I seem to not stick to it.
I'd love to chat with others about how they are doing and get support and advice. Write me at saphiretrx2@aol.com or here.
Thanks!

Welcome Tracey! Don't you sometimes wonder my us moms of toddlers are not a size 2 for all the running around we do!!!!!!!!!
It is hard to stick to a diet when you are exhausted and busy all day.
You have the spot for all your low carb support. Wishing you lots of luck tommorow-remember that after the first day or two it gets easier and your energy level will remind you why you chose this way of life!

Welcome Tracey! You'll love this WOE (way of eating). Once you get past the first few days of wondering what you can eat it's amazingly easy!

I certainly add my howdy and welcome Tracey. It must be fun and demanding with your twins... I found it certainly took a few days to start figuring out how to actually do a low carb day. But I was amazed and thrilled that I had no huger pangs.:T I do miss sweets :chockiss: :chockiss: but there are some great low-carb products available. I love some of the sugarfree chocolate bars and have a low carb cocoa almost every night. It has also helped me to really focus on changing my lifestyle and not being on a diet ( which I know isn't the answer for me) This is a great group and these gals have a lot of wisdom to share..I'm still a newbie but feel at home here... I want to say hi to all here too! I've just finished day 4 on Atkins and am feeling pretty good. The first couple of days were pretty tough but I have to agree that I don't feel hungry.
I'm looking forward to sharing a losing experience with all of you!!
