Question Lemon Water

How much lemon juice do I add to the water, and how many glasses per day? I'm assuming this is for getting rid of excess water weight?

Thanks.

To taste I would say. Lemon doesn't do anything but helps drinking water (adds flavour).
Recommended is 8 glasses a day but I guess that depends on you.

I drink lemon water for the flavor. I keep a small covered bowl in my refridgerator with lemon slices in it. I use one slice per day and aim for 48 oz. of water minimum per day.

um, I actually think it is supposed to help you with weight loss.

Isn't it WW that does that? I mean I know it's common, but I think that's the plan that uses it alot.

I drink lemon water...right now I don't drink as much water as I probably should (oops!) I haven't really noticed a 'huge' difference, but a quick search brought up a great article that says lemon water will help lose weight: <ok, so I can't post links since I'm a newbie...I found it on FitDay dot com> basically says that lemon water promotes healthy bowel movements, cleans out toxins, and promotes quick bursts of energy...the more you drink, the faster you lose weight.
so now I'm motivated to drink water with lemon more! )

I buy 'Pure Lemon' (in the baking aisle at most grocery stores) it's lemon juice that they crystallized so I can take it with me when I am on the run...remember, the lemons at the restaurants are never washed...they are only considered garnish, so you never know what yucky germs can be on them!

Actually, Lemon is used to get rid of excess water, it flushes the sodium out of your body. My doctor told me this. SO yes squeeze lemon on your food and in your water.
