Thumbs up Now I gotta lose weight

I broke my favorite pair of overalls! They were Claibornes I got on sale at Macys or Dillards a year and a 1/2 ago. Regularly 110, on sale for something redicolous like 15. I do not think they are fixable without looking dorky. I have several other capri pairs but they aren't the same. I promised myself no new clothes until I am in a smaller size. I have plenty of fat clothes. Now I can't be a cofortable country girl!!!!! I can't be comfortable unless I wear sweats. Everything I love is snug in the waist!!! I suppose I will have to start excersising now! I am so perturbed. My Target overalls lasted until the seems started falling apart. I wore them every day off for 3 plus years. There goes the notion that expensive designers are better quality!!!! UGH! It's like loosing a best friend!

Flower, it's sounds like a sign from the Wardrobe Godesses!

It's hard to part with a favorite comfy piece-my condolences

LOL, that's one thing that motivated me to finally get my arse in gear... I put on my favorite long, straight, black skirt - and I swear, I could barely get that zipper up! I looked like an italian sausage all squished up... all that fat just ready to burst the seams!

(BTW - I wore that skirt yesterday and it fit perfectly!)

Angry Ohoh!!

Hey... if you don't have anything that currently fits you will be miserable! Go out and buy some affordable clothes that fit you very well right now... who cares if they don't fit you next winter or spring. As you lose weight, you deserve to wear clothes that fit you well throughout the process. And don't go buying clothes that are still too tight with the thought that they will fit you after you lose more weight! Once you shrink out of them, give them to a friend or donate them to charity. It feels great to wear stylish clothes that fit and even better to give them away because you are now to skinny!

Hit the thrift store today myself for the basic reason, I am sick of wearing the same three pair of pants. 2 pairs of pants and 4 shirts for 18.00 (clearance thrift store stuff ) Can't beat it, I hate buying clothes anyway but buying clothes that I don't plan on staying in for any period of time sux's even more than that....
