I was thinking of buying a membership from Jillian Michaels but thought I'd see if anyone had tried this before and if it was a great program. I love Jillian but I need to make sure this is a good program since you have to buy 13weeks at a time ($52, $4/week). I had tried the free trial once but I was following another diet and I cancelled it before getting billed but never looked deep into the website (I should've!!).
Anyways, what are you thoughts about this website?

I decided to go with FitDay. I can track my food and exercise on there and it's free! :)

I have done the free trial too and I didn't think that the site had anything more special than you can find anywhere else for less $. There are plenty of other websites (like this one) where you can connect with others on forums and track food/exercise for free. I personally don't feel it is worth it. I used to love Jillian but I am disappointed how commerical she has become. It seems like since she left Biggest Loser it has been about how many different products she can get her face on.
If you really like her though- she does have a brand new product available if you have the $$. Jilllian Body Revolution is a 90 day program that reminds me a bit of P90X.

I've lost over 40lbs using her site and she really makes it easy. You can select the meals you want to eat, or one will be made for you, all within a certain caloric value based on questions you answer. Then you print out your days and a shopping list is automatically generated based on your choices - btw, you can deselect any items you do not need to buy so they don't print out on your list. I know she advocates organic and in a lot of items I believe that to be good advice, however, I do pick and choose what I can afford. This doesn't stop me from using her site or meal plans. As with ANY meal plan you need to use common sense and choose what will work for you - take out of it what you like and leave the rest.
The food is excellent and something I've been able to feed my family as well. You use real food (no artificial sweeteners, HVO, etc.). This is something that is really important to me as I don't eat any chemical sweeteners, etc. I actually love what she has brought to the weight loss/get fit community. She offers exercises to do daily, however, I usually go to the gym and do weight training and classes instead - I like the accountability and people there.
I don't think JM is too popular on this site, based on what I've read, but I really like her program. It's been the only thing that worked for me and that I've actually enjoyed being on - plus you get great results!
