Alternachicks - What famous person's body do you most aspire to?

When you lose weight whom do you want to resemble physically? I think I would like to resemble Jennifer Lopez. I want to be fit, and sexy without being rail thin. Anyone else?

I think I am aspiring to look like this girl I knew when I was fifteen (me). Not that I expect to regain my beautiful teenage body, but anything is possible. I chose me because when I was 15 I was truly beautiful, only I didn't know it. I am 6'1 and was always the tallest, biggest girl in my class (and probably the whole school) I weighed about 150-155 and thought I was just huge because all my friends were like a size two. Nobody ever told me that I was perfectly O.K., that I weighed what I should, or that I was beautiful.
My second choice would be Jennifer Tilly...she is curvy and sexy and I'm told all the time I look like her anyway...not too sure about that one...although I do have black hair!

I don't know if any of you ever watch that show "The Gilmore Girls" but I think the woman that plays "Lorelei Gilmore" is really attractive. She has a really pretty face and a normal looking body, slim and fit but not a stick and not overly worked out either.

Does anyone here watch Lonely Planet? I love it, and the women who are on it (Justine Shapiro, Megan McCormick, Estelle somebody and Christina Chang) are all beautiful and normal-looking - fit but not skinny. It is a travel show and one traveller goes around somewhere for an hour doing interesting stuff...

You know what? I am NEVER going to look like all those other people (except maybe Mama Cass!!) Basically, I just want to be the best me I can be. Let's face it. I'm covered with stretch marks, I have a FLABBY stomach.....(I won't go on as you all might get sick) and I am trying to learn to love myself AS IS. I want to be in better shape, and I want to weigh less, but I want to see what I will be like as a HEALTHY 45 year old woman. After two BIG babies, one of which came with 8 liters of amniotic fluid, my stomach will never be tight, but if I can go hiking and camping and not feel like I am being tortured I will be a happy woman!!!

I picked Lauren Graham from Gilmore girls cause I think she is beautiful and because she has the body shape that I use to so I think it is a realistic image for me :)

This is a funny topic. The last time I lost weight it was because of something snotty my mom said. This was 1995 and Anna Nicole Smith wasn't fat yet and one of my girlfriends had said how much I looked like her. And my mom said something like,"You wish or In your dreams" So it was her pic I put on my dresser for motivation. Now I think she weighs more than I do!!!!!

I would like to be as toned as Angelina Jolie in Tombraider, but without plastic surgery I will always have loose skin around the middle and these huge flaming stretch marks.

See girls... that's what I mean about the importance of measuring your circumference. (sp?) She's taking up a **** of a lot of air space. I think that's my back. I haven't looked at it, but I can feel those folds. Those are my arms, too. Maybe if I dyed my hair blond and put on some make-up I'd look like that, too. On the other hand, maybe I'll just lose weight.

I hate to admit it but my hubby and I had a guilty pleasure of T.V. time. We put the kids to bed on Sunday night and watched Anna then The Osbornes! YES I can admit it. My mother was shocked, but we watched faithfully until she got slutty. I hate to watch people make a fool of themselves, and that was all she was doing, so we stopped watching her and stuck to Ozzy -they make us seem less disfunctional!

If I could choose a body to have I would say Sandra Bullock. She is classic. But have you seen the Barbie that has the Baby in the tummy??? The tummy pops off and there is a BABY inside!!!!!!! I swear I NEVER looked like that pregnant!

YUP!! Thinner too!! And, though I have never met Anna Nicole, my best guess is that you two would be MUCH more fun to hang out with!!! She is mostly famous for marrying an old man and then fighting his family for the money. She also used to (maybe still does? Don't know, model.)

Ellis- she used to be a model for Guess Jeans ( must have been before the Kate Moss twiglet thing became popular) and now she has her own tv show where the camera just follows her around - sort of like the Osbournes show but more pathetic than funny- the poor girl looks stoned on meds most of the time and talks like she is completly out of it. Sad, very sad.
