My new Mini Goal is to lose at least 5lbs by my Birthday 02/02. Thats about 2 weeks away.

I think I can do it!

But then again I wanted to lose 15 pounds from November to the New Year and couldn't! 8-(

Hope you lose them! I prefer to set myself goals that say things like "I would like to be still on plan by July", because that would be an achievement for me, no matter how much weight I lose. I see you feel a bit discouraged at your loss, and that is why I say that staying on plan is quite an achievement already...

Thats great MsThickMiddle!! you can totally do it. I've lost 8 pounds in 4 weeks. It CAN be done. SWEAT EQUITY will get it done. I've joined a Zumba class last week and the classes have totally kicked up my sweat equity.

I know how you feel darling. We all have hickups along the way. Im getting out of one of mine. The point is to never give up and you WILL make it. :) you can do it. :hug:

You are doing great you'll get there, as long as you try you will see results its usually when we give up we go in the wrong direction :dizzy: You can do it just keep at it!!! :hug:

Thanks SO much ladies! I'm No quiter!

One of the ladies I work with is an avid runner and told me That since I went from being active to being active and working out 4-5 times a week and eating lower calories and more healthy foods (for 7 weeks so far) without losing a pound, that my body was probably holding onto a lot because it was in survival mode. She suggested I take a week off my full blown routine. I went from running 2-3 miles a day as hard as I could and 15-30 minutes of strength training - this past week I only walked 1.5-2 miles in about 20 inutes and did the bike for about 30 minutes = 2 miles.

On day four I weighed myself and had dropped 2 pounds.
On dayseven (today) I have now dropped another 3.5 pounds!

Total lose was 5.5 pounds in one week!
