I was a lot moodier earlier in the dx. I don't know how much of that was from PCOS and the crazy period hormones, the IR and the crazy blood sugar, or hypothyroid and the crazy hormones from that. Maybe all the above!
The moody chills out considerably for me on
birth control pills. But I don't want to be on that all my life so I have to rethink my PCOS management after DH has a vasectomy.
For me I was leanest as a vegetarian eating around 1800 calories per day. But I had weak iron and hi tri's from all the starchy carbs.
As a flexitarian that's more along a 40% carb 30% protein 30% fat breakout, my iron is fine and the tri's are fine, but my B12 and D3 are weak. I take vitamins for that. There's a bunch on supplements and meds in

Given that we come in
