Red face It's been a while!!!!

After a long hiatus, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Since the last time I was here, I've gained 20 lbs. Not happy I've been diagnosed with some health issues that make losing weight an even harder battle. I have all these hopes for my weight loss, but not a lot of support or motivation. I have a list of things that I want to do, but I know I can't until I lose the weight. I'm hoping to find that support and motivation here. I get so inspired when I see posts of people that are doing great. So, here I am Let the motivation, inspiration, and support begin because let's face, we all need it. That's why were here

I just read your post, and I'm at the same point in my life as you. I have put on about 50 or 60 lbs in the last year. Thats alot but I have had a few life changes that has had alot of effect on my weight. I pay for those changes daily, and Im ready to move on with my life. I also see myself doing more active things and living a more healthy life style. I feel that with the right friends to talk to and the right amount of will power <which is somthing I have lost alot of> I can do it. the hardest part for me starting.

horrorchick, , welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the Dieting with Obstacles sub forum
