I have a question I was looking at some whole wheat noodles and I glanced over at the Davinci noodles they had alot to choose from. What I wanted to know is it said 100 percent durum wheat but the noodles look almost normal color of regular noodles. Wheat noodles are more brown does anybody use the noodles are they ok to have?
All regular noodles are wheat noodles - look for whole wheat noodles. I am assuming you are on phase II. Durham wheat is a very hard wheat and is the best for any kind of pasta.
From the Phase II Food List:
Quote:
Pasta
Whole wheat is best choice - 1/2 cup cooked (3 grams of fiber or more per 1/2 cup)
ETA: If it's this one: http://www.davincipasta.com/wWheat.html and says it contains 100% durum WHOLE wheat flour then it is okay. Remember the serving size is just 2 oz (that's why I gave up pasta, I always wanted more
