SF Pudding-- Y or N
On the new plan, since you are supposed to have milk, is the sugar free pudding by Jello an acceptable dessert? Thanks.

No. It contains starch.

Also, it's totally processed and full of fake ingredients. Try one of the delish desserts from the recipes here, or if you like the texture of tapioca, try making some pudding with chia seeds. You can customize it to your own taste by adding different flavored sf extracts.

OK thanks. I just wondered since Diet Jello was okay, but I didn't consider the starch.
I am not dying in the dessert way, but I am not doing the milk thing and thought maybe that would be an easy avenue until fruit reappears post P1.

To be honest, I've never understood why sf jello is allowed. It is also 100% artificial with some ingredients (artificial colors) where even safety issues have been raised. I'd avoid it if you can. Also, you should really try to monitor whether artificial sweeteners are a trigger for you. For some people they are as bad as real sugar.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it is or not. I'll have to keep track of that for sure. I usually am dying for fruit flavors by day 6 or 7, so I anticipate jello then. What sweetener do you use if not Equal or Splenda?

Well, I just read through the Supercharged SBD book and sf pudding is listed as a limit of one per day on Ph 2. Not sure I'll join in on that, but it might be a good thing to know when you are at a potluck or a friend's house for dinner.

When I started SBD, SF jello was allowed in P1 but the SF pudding was not allowed until P2 because of the starch. To my knowledge that has not changed.
When I first started SBD I relied on both of these items as I transitioned off sugary sweets. It helped me immensly. Now I find I haven't had either one for months.

As far as I know, it is acceptable on Phase 2.
