Diana- i will! I probably won't try spinning until a week or 2. Those classes are so full with all the Jan. people.

today- ymca turbokick 45 min- this class is like a mixture of turbo fire and turbo jam. They change the routine every 2 months. It was fun but challenging.

Hello! After a 2-day rest I had a great workout today!
TF 45 with weighted gloves - gave it all!

I was looking into BodyCombat after someone mentioned it on the board and it looks amazing! I wish it was available on DVD.

Is this the Les Mills program that's offered at the gyms? If so, there has been talk about it going to DVD since Beach Body has done Body Pump. We'll see.

There is also talk that next month BB will be releasing a new Turbo Fire. Again, we'll see. ;)

Diana, I saw the BodyPump on Team Beachbody, I wonder if they will release Body Combat? From what I understand the trainers are really against it, since the gyms will loose revenue from the classes.

RRB2 I would like to see them release Body Combat. I saw a couple videos of the classes. I probably need to go back and look again. It may not have the "fun factor" of TF, though. I really like kickboxing style workouts. I don't think it will change much with the classes. Some people do classes as well as videos. Most people do one or the other, though. I have also heard that the music in the videos is not as good as the music in the class.

today- ymca 1 hour extreme ride... I liked it. I'll be sore tomorrow. The teacher was really nice. My schedule will start to be all over the place with my college classes starting next week, so I might not be able to make that class. I'm going to try a different cycling class next Wed. with a different teacher.

I have very good energy/stamina/endurance for cardio. I hate weights, though. Most people I know love weights!

Diana, I happen to love weights - heavy, heavy weights, but I'm taking a temporary break b/c of very old spine injury acting up. Plus picking up my 12 month old all day long counts as weights, no?

RRB2 I was in a car wreck years ago and had a neck injury. Every time I would think I was better and started lifting, my neck flared up. I have been OK for the last couple of years. It took close to 10 years to get to where I can lift weights on a regular basis. That's probably why I have so much dread when it comes to weights. I associate them with pain. ;)

I bought a new exercise program. I am going to officially start it on Monday. Between now and then I am going to try the different workouts. I will supplement this new program with cardio from TF.

The new program is called 10 Pound Slimdown Xtreme. Let's see how well I like it. ;) TF is my favorite workouts of all time. I did the Kickboxing workout from the new program today and liked it.

Teacher Thank you. I have always loved the cardio part of TF, but I never cared for the weight part. Hopefully I will like the weight part of the new program. Then I can find a way to mesh the two.

The last week, the focus will be on lower body. I think this program is going to kill me. If it does, I wonder if DH can get a refund of my money. :rofl:
