I guess I have stopped thinking about how much I will lose this year. I have lost 40lb and though I need to lose 30 more I'm ok. We have one son out of 10 kids not saved so that would be wonderful if he would trust Christ.

I still try to do 4 or 5 mi. a day except Sun. when we usually have company. Hasn't really helped me lose weight but there are lots of other benefits.

I did 5 miles this morning! yes mam I said 5 miles. I cannot remember the last time I did 5 miles. I used the 5 Really Big Miles and I really love that work out, but I don't care if I ever do that 4th mile again those lunges are brutal 88 minutes of walking ... I'm so proud of myself

where is the rest of our walkers? hope everybody is ok.

tomorrow it is back to work so I'll be up at 5:00 walking before getting ready. I sure have loved being off and at home for a little while.

hope everybody has a great day!

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I skip the warm up and cool down to save time.

I started monday with one mile and last night I did two and hopefully tonight I will do three. Not sure the name but it consists of five miles. At one time I was a very dedicated exerciser doing step aerobics, tae-bo, The firm tapes and many other tapes but due to my back I stopped everything about five months ago. I have decided I'm not gonna go back to what I was doing especially the two hours a night I was exercising. I'm really loving this walking tape and just feel so much better after doing it even thou I'm only at two miles

The tape I'm doing has each mile at 12 minutes hence 5 miles in one hour. If you were a guessing person how many calories do you think that burns? I'm 4 9 1/2 and need to lose about 25 pounds

I don't even have to guess because on Leslie's website she says that a mile of her regular walks burns around 100 calories, and a boosted mile burns around 125 calories. those miles you are talking about are boosted miles so that is 5 x 125 = 625 calories burned YOU GO GIRL!

P.S. I'm 52 so we are close in age

lol Cathy I guess I didn't make it more clear my height is 4 91/2 but I am 47. Well I know at the end of each mile she does this two minute boost but had no idea that many calories are being burnt. WOO HOO you got me even more motivated to get to that five mile mark YEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
