Hi Everyone! Today at work our Wellness Newsletter came out. I was shocked to read the first article, which is about ME! I wanted to share it with all of you:

Self Motivator of the Year
Mary Jo N

As editor of the Newsletter I have
chosen Mary Jo N as
Motivator of the Year.
Mary Jo has gone through an incredible
transformation this past
year. She began her journey to
wellness about six years ago. She
decided to diet & exercise and lost
100 lbs. Then, like so many of us,
she fell off the weight loss wagon.
Over time she slowly gained back
half of what she lost. Mary Jo then
became involved in the Unity
House Wellness initiative. Mary Jo
called the Healthy Roads Program
and started surrounding herself
with the supports she needed to
turn her life around. Mary Jo didn’t
know it yet, but this time it
would not be about “losing weight”,
it would be about changing her
life. Mary Jo began the process of
building a support system. It began
with a Wellness Coach and
participation in Zumba. Next she
signed up for an on-line Fitness
Trainer. Mary Jo also signed up for
Kick Boxing lessons. All of this was
done with the support of her husband
& family. Mary Jo has now
lost over 100 lbs again. Mary Jo is
truly an inspiration to all who
know her.

MJ - this is such a wonderful tribute to your determination. I've watched, via your photo's, a metamorphsis of sorts this last year. I've known you always to be a pretty lady... but, you are looking wonderful, healtheir & a new twinkle in your eyes.

I couldn't be prouder or happier for you.

I know your story will be an inspiration for many folks.

You rock, friend.
