Exclamation Starting Phase 2 Saturday

I had my WI today and I got rid of 1.8lbs!!! YEAH!!! I have planned on going onto P2 on Saturday. I will stay on that for one week and then P3 starting the next Saturday...that for another week and then I am on an AWESOME vacation with my 8 year old daughter to NYC!!!!

I am so excited about my trip yet nervous about P2 and P3. I am only 7 pounds away from my goal but doubt in P2 and P3 I am going to lose any. I will jump right back on P1 as soon as we get back.

Do y'all think that I am temporarily phasing off properly? I am so nervous. I love IP so much because it is so cut and dry...I don't have to think...the flexibility sort of scares me!

Any words of wisdom or ideas of what you ate on P2 or 3 would be awesome!

Thank you!

Good Luck! I am starting P2 right after New Years as I am too nervous about blowing it, the flexibility is what scares me too. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
Have a blast with your daughter in NYC

Thank you so much for responding! I really wish someone who was on P2 or P3 would reply. I am really nervous about this and could really use the encouragement...

Well what everyone says about phase two it that it is just like phase 1 but with two 'regular" high protien meals instead of one. That part should fit nicely with travelling.

I did the same thing for my vacation back in Sept. I was roughly 10# from goal and I did P2 for 1 week, P3 for 1 week and was on vacation for almost 2 weeks. If you do a thread search, I did a "vacation report" that outlines pretty much my whole experience of vacation and getting back on track.

I have sinced phased off for good, having reached goal. I will say that unlike a lot of people, I barely lost any weight in either P2 or P3, either time I did them. Just know going into it that you could possibly lose those couple of weeks you are phasing off and on vacation. Don't get too upset about it though! It is absolutely the right way to handle vacations! I think you would do so much more damage if you went straight from P1 to vacation without having slowly woken up your pancreas.

Jenny, thank you so much! So, today I started with my staple Peanut Butter Soy Puffs, then had chicken and grape tomatoes for lunch, dinner will be salmon and asparagus and a chocolate shake for my snack!

P2 doesn't seem like I have to think all that much...in essence just have leftovers from the night before. What I am wondering is what I will eat on P3. Jenny, or anyone...what does your daily menu look like?

I need to do some research on P3!!!

Go take a peak in the "experienced" thread. Lots of discussion about P3 breakfast. My typical breakfast is:

(2) eggs + (1) egg white, scrambled
(1) small apple
(1) T. peanut butter
(1) cup 0% Fage Greek yogurt
3/4 cup granola (mixed into yogurt)

I still eat this pretty much every single day!
