Hello! I'm new to this forum but not new to the SBD.

In 2004, I lost 33lbs in 3 months using the SBD. I guess I got too happy with my results and went back to eating EVERYTHING. I didn't gain the weight back for a while, but now at only 23 y/o I'm the heaviest I've ever been.

A little background. I'm just out of a relatationship during which I gained about 50lbs, I call it love weight. I decided it's a good time to restart my diet and make it stick this time.

I did tweek the diet a bit to suit me, I follow all of the guideline 6 days a week. Once a week I get to cheat.

It's been 2 weeks and I've lost 11lbs!!!!:carrot: I was concerned about the cheat day at first but I noticed that I'm still pretty carb conscious even on my cheat day and I don't go too crazy! Other than my cheat day I'm strictly phase 1.

I hope that you guys can motivate me to stick to it this time. I'll be tracking my progress weekly.

I must have named my weight, too, and now I'm bonded with it! It started out as 'love weight', then moved to 'baby weight'. Now, I'm carrying around 'over-40 weight', and it is hanging on for dear life! :lol: Welcome to the forum, and thank you for my first laugh of the day! :)

My weight gain was "moving" weight. When we moved from the city to the country, I started to cook like a farm lady every weekend: big roasts, oven potatoes,creamed stuff and apple pie. Of course I wasn't working like a farm lady so it didn't take long to go from 173 to 232. I was in the city during the week with lots of chicken wings, burgers and beer after work.
