Salami is way high in fat, turkey should be ok if it's not "honey roasted", just plain, and I use the low fat ham slices. The caution is that it's high in salt, which may make you retain some water.

Salami no, same goes for peperoni and similar items. Sliced turkey, Roast Beef or Chicken. As Sherwood pointed out you need to watch the Turkey, but plain Turkey should be good. If you go with Ham it needs to be fat free cooked ham.

6-8 ozs would be your dinner portion if this what you are eating for your meal just like any other meat.
